Where do You have the Wests Tigers Finishing in 2017?

Hard to pick you would suspect the Storm, Raiders, Cowboys, Panthers, Sharks, Broncos will be there again with their rosters. I would also think Warriors with Foran and RTS back and the Roosters Rabbits, Eels will bounce back.Based on this I would say 11th as we are better than Titans, Knights, Dogs, St George, Manly.

That said a few sides always have injury problems and off field issues so we may end up at best 8th.
 
It is a bit of a lottery. I can see the Sharks going backwards with a couple of key losses and a number of the squad having limited time away from the nursing home to train and play. The raiders were good last year, but could come back to earth badly. Melbourne are an injury or 2 away from being a team of nobodies, and I can see the Broncos going backwards. The Knights, Saints and Manly are average teams.
However I think Penrith and Nth Qld will stay up there. There will be massive improvement from the Warriors, Roosters & Rabbits. That would be 5 if the top 8 so can see us competing with Parra, Dogs, Storm, Broncos, Eels, Titans and a couple of others. Unfortunately I think that a couple of these teams will be more consistent over a long season.
 
I think we will finish the season poorly seems to be in our DNA. 12th but should have been so much better.

We were hard done by to not make the 8 last year imho

Lost to the Knights when they clearly cheated.

Got screwed out of a game vs the storm.

And screwed against the dogs.

And the titans (jarred hayne anyone?)

Would have firmly put us in the bottom half of the 8 and i reckon we can do better this year. 4th to 6th is my pick.
 
Heart says 7th or 8th, head is saying 9th or 10th.

I'm thinking a lot depends on Brooks, will that kid who smacked St George on his debut return? Also it'll depend on how Jamal goes and if we can replace Rankin (unless for some bizarre reason Rankin kills it).

Our season can go from 7th(tiger glasses) as far down as 14th(devils advocate).What it will probably come down to is injuries if we have very few to key players then it should be ok the more we get the worse it is.
If you look at our roster it is probably slightly worse than last year, on the upside it is a young squad who could show decent improvement (tiger glasses).
With an average run of luck i expect 10th
 
On paper and going on the improvement from 2015 to 2016, I expect around 6th / 7th.

Really hinges on key players staying fit, not leaking like a sieve on the right edge and Brooks getting more involved.
 
The way I look at it you have to ask yourself what 8 teams are going to finish below us??? I just do not see to many standouts, maybe three or four. Not saying we can't finish top 8, but I think anything above 10th will be a good year.

Anyway with such horror draw to start the season, if we are running 3 from 6 or better we could really surprise,but sadly I don't think so.

My Tip is 11th
 
The team did develop its game from 2015 to 2016\. Which happen to happen because 2015 was horrible. If we can build on our best games out of 2016 we can make the 8.
When we bought Idris I thought that's a great pick up. Not much money, if it doesn't work out he'll be playing SC. now with Simona gone our defence in the centres could be no better than 2016\. If we fail in the centres I see us coming 10th.
However I'm backing MCK and Idris to help the team stop more tries than we score and have our F&A in the positive.
The rest of the side (bar DH) looks stronger than 2016.
I think we'll come 7th.
 
I'm tipping us in at 7 th but we will need Ballin to Play and we will need to be injury free as a team , if we get injuries and JT starts playing players like Lovett in the centre etc we will drop to 12 th
 
Just missing out on the Semis again.

The Defensive hardness is what we have been missing.

If that somehow changes and we dont cpaitualate like the Canberra games last year, then we can give a lot of teams a shock
 
Unlike most this pre season actually made me more positive. The fact that lovett was not seen ( and hopefully will not be seen in a wests tigers jersey again) and Rankin seems to have dropped the pecking order has got me excited.

Our spine in their 3rd year together so they will go bananas. Add that spark from Liddle and anything can happen.

With Elijah taylor now settled and his playing style amazing he will add heaps to us. So will Idris.

Add the emerging talent of paseka, felise, suli, alioa to get even better.

No Farah drama this year, so the big 4 have to step up and take the reins with no excuses.

The only thing that could de rail our season is if Moses leaves with tedesco pretty much locked up.

To me we are a better team then last year. I know people are saying the Roosters and Warriors and even Eels will be stronger. But i reckon the bulldogs, sharks and even Melbourne and brisbane will be weaker. So there will be alot of swapping in the top 8.

Prediction: sneak into the top 8 (7 or 8th)
