I ended up having dinner with Chee -Kam , Marsters , Jennings and Mikaele.

As for your constant dribble in regards to Parra Stadium it’s not our friggin home ground !
Friends of ours got Elton John tickets and there’s the eels logo printed on the top !
Why wasn’t our logo printed on the tickets ?

As I have said numerous times, I'll support what the club no matter the decision about the grounds, just would prefer Bankwest!

Tonight was slightly frustrating. It actually felt like a home game. We basically have 6 home games a year and we basically haven't had a real home game since **round three**. It's such a huge disadvantage on top of everything else we have to contend with.

To put it in perspective, we won 1 out of 3 there in 2017 and 2018. We don’t play any better there than we do anywhere else. We’ve actually put in some of our worst performances there over the years if anything. Games like the Titans
last year, the Raiders in the final round in 2016, and they also towled us up there in 2015. Because everyone loves the ground so much and romantizes over it, it distorts views.

@formerguest Theres the rub the club has to choose between guys drinking on the hill with GA admission or someone that will pay for 10 premium season tickets for a couple of thousand up front.
It is sink or swim financially for all clubs in the Sydney basin .. yes Leichhardt was great in the old days but the club will perish on the vine if they do not play all home games at a decent stadium there the facts like it or not!

We need to have an identity and sharing grounds with other clubs hinders that chance of creating an identity. Stick to CSS and as @GNR4LIFE said with the games going to LO like the bulldogs do with Belmore.

Crowds at CSS are pretty underwhelming. Doesn't break 10k very often. In my opinion CSS is not the answer.

There was about 16k against the Dogs in round 3. Standing room only. If you have a combination of a winning team and a good timeslot, low Ctown crowds are a myth.

You do know that the overall average crowds at Ctown and LO are really similar yeah? Only a 2 or 3k difference.

In fairness to GNR, The table shows bigger average crowds at Campbelltown when we are winning - 2005 to 2012. Not bigger than Leichhardt, but comparable. Drops off badly from there.

In fairness to Sabre, 2 or 3K difference is 20 - 30% - not insignificant.

If these 2 grounds were our only option, I personally would prefer Leichhardt given you can have a day/night out in or around the city after the game - plenty to do etc. plus COE will be close by. Sorry, but don't want to spend my weekends in Campbo.

Reality now - it will be Bankwest, SFS or ANZ.

I think we need to bite the bullet and play out of ANZ or SFS. Just pick one and play ALL home games for 3 years as a trial. If the team benefits from a consistent base in the way of results, we should stick with it. If not, let's look at our options then.

A bit fed up with 5 home grounds each year.
