This year Taylor has had a clear plan at hooker….
\. First we will try Little John who did a good job combining with Cherrington with Farah and Halatau out due to injury.
\. Then we bring Halatau straight back and start at 9 next game and drop Drink water who did a good job.
\. Then we will ease Farah back in from the bench and play a total of 3 hookers against Parramatta. A truly bizzarre tactic in a 8-0 loss.
\. Then we will go with Robbie and Robbie alone for a good month or so with Halatau occasionally coming on to give him a break..
\. Now maybe my memory is foggy here but im pretty sure in one game along the line we play LOVETT at strting number 9 out of the blue??? Can someone refresh my memory on whether this happened or not??
\. Then Robbie and Cherry are judged no good and can not be trusted to start or be in the team at all.
\. So we go with Ballin off the bench after a year out with a knee injury and Halatau starts. Ballin lasts just 2 games on his dodgy knee.
\. Robbie gets "rested" when fit to back up from State of Origin we decide in our wisdom to play our best forward ET there against Easts in the rain?? Resulting in a thumping loss.
\. That does not work so we go with Halatau starting and Farah on the bench and we have a good win against Souths.
.Farah cops another head knock in Origin and is very quickly ruled out.
\. Liddle who has recently been re-signed as the "future" flies with the team for the Storm game, but doesnt get a game with our main 2 hookers injured.
\. Then to mix things up we go with ET starting at hooker for our next game instead of Halatau who did a good job starting in a 10-0 lead against Souths?? No Cherrington or Liddle anywhere.
\. Mean while Jason Taylor is desperate to force Farah out , yet wont play Liddle or Cherrington with him out????
And our most effective ball player has now played in 2 lop sided losses as a makeshift hooker.
You know it makes sense.
