Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

You agree with him starting with ET at hooker today?

I thought it was a committee who selected the team now, which had a lot of people cheering when TT delivered the news. Why are we pinning it all on Taylor again?

Your good GNR4LIFE. Anything to take any blame at all away from the coach.

Yeah lets blame Oneill, im sure he forced Taylor to put him there in a late change!!

Poor JT hving this forced upon him.

You think Taylor is not getting the team he wants with dropping Robbie to the bench (for Ballin a Taylor signing) or "resting" him? Also with Rankin (a Taylor signing) coming back into the team for JAC

Keep the excuses up for him mate they are hilarious.

Committee must have outvoted Taylor !!

JT doesn't like Robbie.
Robbie couldn't play today 'cos of concussion not because JT doesn't like him.
Plan was ET to start and Halatau to take over.
Halatau picks up an injury so ET has to play the entire game @ hooker.

- Farah COULDN'T play today
- Halatau, who has played hooker for us the most this year was going to play hooker, sharing the duties with Elijah however got injured
- If whoever was playing hooker went down, ET would've had to slot into that role.
- Liddle isn't ready clearly and Cherrington is unwanted/on the way out.

The "safer" option in other words the dud option.

Even after all that GEO why doesnt Halatau start at hooker after leading us to a 10-0 lead last week?

Why move our best forward after playing him at hooker in a loss V Easts and at lock in a big win v Souths?

Its not hindsight its dud selecting. Plain and simple.

For mine it's pretty simple Eddie…..you don't weaken a specialist Lock in ET and weaken him by playing him at Hooker :crazy .

If Liddle travelled with the team and Farah is ruled out ? you do a like for like replacement , bringing in Felisse for Farah is pretty dumb IMO , ET's game was affected by it.

I can link you to the thread if you like. Gotta love the selective memories around here.

P.

Just a footnote.

Robbie couldnt play against the Roosters not because of concussion but because JT doesnt like him.

Mate I don't care about the thread.

If you don't think taylor is getting the team he wants your dreaming.

Blaming Oneill is laughable.

I do not think it was a late change. They knew since Thursday that Farah would not be playing. Halatau was under in injury cloud with a hamstring problem, but was ruled out due to concussion. I would suggest that the reason Liddle was taken was if Halatau did not overcome hamstring problem, they would have started with ET at hooker & Liddle would have come off the bench.

Not at all ..I would have used Liddle from the bench …I've said that already... but I see why he did...

Anyway the way the whole team played the 1st half not touching the ball for 15min's don't think whoever was dummy half would have made much of a difference..

To the teams credit they performed much better in the 2nd half with 16 men..

I don't know what's going on with the team selections Eddie, you're obviously missing my point which is the 180 degree turn you and your buddies have made from the TT thread. The hypocrisy.

Harvey,

My argument was it was a poor decision to play our best forward at starting number 9.

Plain and simple.

Keep deflecting GNR4.

Its obvious with Robbie being on the bench or "rested" for Ballin or Halatau and Rankin back in for JAC that Taylor is pretty firmly in charge of selections? Ballin and Rankind were Taylors signings.

You dont think so?

Really?

It's obvious to you now cos we're losing. It wasn't in TT's thread. Again, I'm not arguing whose selecting the team, I'm arguing YOUR hypocrisy.

As predicted by a few.
Selectors pick the team when we win.
Taylor picks the team when we lose.
GNR is spot on.

Also interesting of note to see, once again, assistant coach Craig Sandercock doing all the talking at half time and JT standing there like a lost little boy.
Sack JT now. Pretender.

Didn't see that!!! I was out the back mumbling expletives so my partner didn't lose it at me, doing laps of the backyard at half time. I considered staying out there considering how we were playing.

If that's true about Sandercock and he was the one behind that comeback then he deserves the job and JT can head for hills with his tail between his legs. That would be the second or third time he's been caught on camera sulking in the sheds at half time letting his assistants dish out the motivation!

Plain and simple.

It was supposed to be for a limited time, with Halatau taking over. I do not necessarily agree with it, but the alternative would have been having both Halatau & Liddle in the side, so end up with something like:
8\. Woods
9\. Halatau
10\. Sue
11\. Aloiai
12\. Lawrence
13\. ET

Bench
Grant, Liddle, Lovett, Ava, JJ. Who gets dropped off the 5 man bench?

Keep deflecting boys,

Have to call him Teflon Taylor, nothing sticks.

Poor JT, Oneill making these horrible selections like dropping Farah (who JT hates) and bringing back Rankin (A Taylor signing) !!

Taylor clearly not getting the side he wants!!! Being White anted!!!
