I'm cool with the above comments, but give JT 10 years like Sheens to make a fair comparison.

Any coach deserves at least 2 years to be fair

I don't doubt Taylor's smarts.

I just don't think people like him.

People want to run through a brick wall for Bennett, Bellamy because they know how to man manage and how to respond to different personality. They don't have wizard game plans or draw ont he chalk board at half time.

You mention Taylor they turn their nose up. He is there drawing these diagrams at half time, they might be the best games plans in the world. But if the blokes cant stand you well your no chance./

Sorry but its a fact./

You're comparing him to the two greatest coaches of the modern era for crying out loud. JT's not the only one who can't do what they do if you're being fair and honest.

And who said the players can't stand him?

Well he got knocked out At Souths Mad Monday so he was obviously a popular figure there.

Here the silence is deafening in terms of players going into bat for him.

I know one who just loves him

He put it this way

He compared Sheens to Potter this way

"I got more phone calls from Potter in the 1st week that Potter took over than he did in one season from Sheens "

Then he compared Taylor to Potter

" I got more info from Taylor in the 1st week than he got from Potter in the first month "

Taylor was getting the players to send photos of what they were eating for every meal in the off season

The players are going into bat for Taylor Even Taupau did AFTER he left

Maybe a case of selective memory Eddie ….........

Stickler for rehab and making sure players are physically and mentally right

Geez the best example you can give is a player who put one on his chin at another club, 8 yrs ago. Really, that's the best you got? Who in the Wests TIgers squad in 2015 squad doesn't like him? Give us some names.

On TAupau, everyone was licking their lips with anticipation when he announced he was leaving thinking he was going to pin it on Taylor. How'd that work out?

Hasn't Farah publicly stated a few times that he gets on quite well with Taylor?

I have no probs with Taylors stuff like with the diet and the fitness/rehab stuff.

We def look like we have moved forward.

Its more his game plans/use of players and and lack of any flair/moves that has me worried.

Im still shaking at the 5 tackle midfield bomb when we dont have the Roosters pack and never got any field position to attack….Penriff targetting Lovett at centre, the rookie centres, the Cowboys game...I could go on.

These seemed rookie errors and there were more that i directly attribute to Taylors gameplan or lack thereof.

This has me extremely worried.

Would you rather he gave his real opinion , so you could whinge about him whiteanting
Taylor
He migh be OK as am assistant coach, but as a head coach, he makes a good water runner. He has no idea of how to handle a group of playersand and even as a player( which he was actually good at), His ego and arrogance was a problem.

To be fair to Farah, let's remember what happened last time he had a negative opinion of a coach. I can't blame him for keeping his opinions to himself this time around.

Because Taupau was always about the money (and fair enough when they're throwing a ridiculous bag of it at you.) The only ones that have complained were an unproven youngster who already told the club he wasn't hanging around and a State Cup player who had a whinge because he was asked to play in the halves.

C'mon GNR, you forget that David Fa'alogo is a pillar of the community and totally without any history or rap sheet of punching people.

Excluding of course the 7 weeks he got for blind-siding Braith Anasta in 2007.

Excluding of course the fine he copped in 2008 for punching a member of public whilst on a team trip to the USA.

Other than those 3 public incidents, he never laid a hand on anyone, wouldn't hurt a fly.

Yet JT felt the need to try and provoke him….

Mental midget?

at this point, i feel like if you HAVENT gotten punched by fa'alogo you're doing something wrong.

GNR4LIFE - Players are never going to come out and say i don't rate the coach, morale is low etc. It's a one way ticket to reserve grade.

You can call it all speculation because thats what it is.

The same as your speculating that everyone is right behind him.

You can only go off performances really. This season we will see where we stand.

I hope I'm wrong.

You're right, except for that one time where someone did and look at the hot mess he ended up in.
