Which team will get the 18th Franchise

With 18 teams they should start looking at 2 conferences of 9 teams - play each team in your conference twice as home and away and each team in other conference once. 25 games compared to 24 in 2023. Top 4 from each conference in to end of season playoffs. A fairer system than the lottery system of a draw we have at the moment.

Eh i disagree. Think 24 games are way to much. Get fatigued by the end and just waiting for the finals.

I agree its a lot of games but the current system just isn't fair. Maybe they go to just play each other once - 17 games and fill the rest with SOO and Internationals - only problem is TV won't agree to that.

Thats what i was thinking. Be a great comp if it was 17 games. Every game would be good to watch. Then the following year youbplay the opppsite teams home and away.

The end of year test series would be more expanded and relevant too.

Wont happen though of course

I hope you think about other things in life as well. Unless you be getting paid for this. You put a lot of thought into this. And make some great points Sean T

Perth would be ideal. I live 40km south.

Got a good junior system and a decent a grade comp here. Lot of New zealanders over here who play.
Looks like $600mill from Albo will beat us. Otherwise should have been next in line.
