Who can play at 6??

i cant forget the Marshall drop goal from 51m out at Ctown

Holla for a Marshall, wont let you down

In all honesty, i think some of us Benji fans are in fantasy land

Can safely say i dont think he will ever wear our jersey again as a player

Good call….Bring back Benji. I would. In conjunction with some other moves could prove very smart. Could be integral to the club building. The experience to young players....not to mention if playing in reserves if required, added revenue at the gate....I would...to be honest would be stupid not to make a play.

otherwise the player I would try and buy would be George Williams from Wigan…fantastic 5/8 and would be the perfect compliment to Brooks, however you do need a decent forward pack for your halves to work wonders.

Moses to curb, bring back Benji… Love it. Might as well play someone with the deficiencies you know and love.

What about Jayden Nikorima? Had big raps coming through and is currently playing for Wyong as he's behind Watson, Keary & Matterson

You guys crack me up, first you crucify the guy for leaving the club for union, now you want him back! Get the Robbie thread ready…....

Watson would be handy

I reckon he'd be great as well, just think the Roosters would be reluctant to let him go, as he's obviously in their 17\. Would have to come in with a decent offer and hope they grant him with a release

At the club currently, we have Veiru Mapesone(playing ISP at 6), Justin Hunt(some of his best games in ISP have been at halfback), Jordan Rankin(I think he's a worst case scenario), JLJ(I think everyone saw last week he's not anything special) and Jeremy Marshall-King(played halfback in NYC, currently playing bench utility in ISP). Those are all the options we have at the club at the moment, unless we shift Lawrence to five-eight.

I was desperate for Benji to leave when he did, so i cant believe im saying this, but why not bring him back for this year? We have no suitable half to partner Brooks, so lets take a punt on Benji having a decent few months which we all know he can have. How good would it be if Brooks and Benji lead a 2017 revival and we finish 8th while Moses at parra finishes 9th. Dreams can come true.

Its an interesting topic the Benji one.

His time is up and I know he wasn't happy with how things ended.

Cleary turned Soward into a very consistent half in his later years and well we could do with some positive media, team focus and experience.

It would be a massive about face for the club to welcome him back as well

Personally I wouldn't sign him but wouldn't be devastated if we did either provided he doesn't cost us a bucket load.

It's a given now that Mitchell Moses will be leaving at seasons end, if not sooner. So, for 2018 who should we have in the 6 jersey?

The proven off-contract players:
Gareth Widdop, Kieran Foran, Cooper Cronk, Josh Reynolds, Shaun Johnson.

Other off-contract halves:
Lachlan Croker, Matt Frawley, Will Hopoate(seem to remember him playing some five-eight at Parra), Nu Brown, Tyrone Roberts, Ryley Jacks, Ato Hingano, Mason Lino, Ray Thompson, Will Smith, Jeff Robson, Drew Hutchison, Josh McCrone, Luke Kelly.

What we have:
Jordan Rankin, Justin Hunt, Veiru Mapesone, Jeremy Marshall-King, Jack Littlejohn.

Those are our only options unless, we can convince the Roosters to release Connor Watson or Jayden Nikorima or the Broncos to release Kodi Nikorima.

I'm getting sloppy here. Starting threads that already exist. Sorry to the mods.
