Who do you want to play Five-Eight for the rest of the year?

If JLJ does nothing in attack I'm fine with it. He just has to tackle for us to improve on last week.
I'm sure Brooks will steer us around.

When Rankin got involved in the halves last year, I thought he ran the ball pretty well. He's quite difficult to tackle.

In the 10 minutes of NSW cup I've actually watched this year I thought Rankin looked alright in the halves. Really nothing to lose giving him a go one week.

Littlejohn is probably the most likely for the rest of the year.

Or Until we get Lolohea.

The Warriors officially knocked back the Lolohea release. Which is good in a way, because it does confirm Lolohea's intention to sign with the Tigers, but annoying because it's unlikely the Warriors will release jim in 2017.

They want a adequate replacement ( TMM) and then they will release him.

Littlejohn deserves an extended run in the halves. He is 2 wins from 6 matches in first grade this season and his best performances were his late two matches (Cowboys and Parramatta).

JLJ deserves the start but it would be good to see whether Rankin could actually have a go in his preferred position.

Lawrence, if only to fix up the woeful defence on that side. It would allow Brooks full control of the side and good preparation for next year. It would allow another forward in the 17 as well, which will also help with defence and go forward.

Agree with this wholeheartedly! I know Cleary has gone with JLJ for this week and I think that's probably the sensible approach for now, since he was playing in the halves when Brooks was out earlier. However, if after a couple of games it's not working out, put Lawrence there for all the reasons you mention above.

People calling for Rankin are probably only doing so because we need a goal kicker, surely you remember his inept displays from last year and pre-season? Moses has been bad, but we don't want to replace him with someone equally as bad! If we need a goal kicker then let's put Justin Hunt on Kev's wing and keep Rankin & Kev away from first grade altogether. Hunt is a solid winger, who can kick really well and he doesn't have the defensive issues of Naiqama. Simple solution!

HUnt did and ankle last week. He will be out for weeks if not season.

Supposedly to be released in 3 weeks.

Ah really? I didn't know that - there goes that idea then

JLJ is a good defender and a better option in the halves than Lawrence.

Ivan says we're looking for a new playmaker for this year.

Lolohea, the current worst kept secret. I'm not sold on the signing but it appears that Ivan is, so I'll go with it.

Upside is he'll be in the system for quite a while before he switches to fullback.
