16\. ??
17\. ???

Looks a bit thin, but you could add Blair to the second row and maybe Dwyer at lock.if we don't sign anyone other than Blair speculation would be that players from our 20's will be in fg and not sure who in Bret is ready for the step up

I think Sheens'll move Ayshford into the pack next year, #13 jumper. He's a tough player to bring down, excellent strength and leg drive, carries the ball in one hand, could produce a great offload with more support around him and he'll put on even more size in the next off season. A move into the forwards has always been on the cards.

It opens up a spot at right centre too for Young Sirro perhaps.. maybe a bit too soon, but earmark it for the future.

On the subject of Harrison, is he on the way out at the Raiders? He's looked busted this season. What'd he get, 15 minutes off the bench last night, made two hitups… Papali has been a revelation for them.

L-Simon Dwyer
SR- Adam Blair
SR- Gareth Ellis
P- Keith Galloway
H- Robbie Farah
P- Aaron Woods

R1 -Liam Fulton or Chris Hieghington
R2 - Ben Murdoch Masiala
R3 - Neil Begovich or Matt Groat

I also am fairly sure we will be signing at least 2 other new players
Matt Bell from the Panthers likely to be one and another big guy to play off the Bench

Looks like a much bigger stronger set of forwards for me - we have all winged about Tigers forwards over the last 5 years and the current group of juniors is one of if not the best we have seen come through the club

The time for a cleanout was due and we have done it - I can take a not so special year next year for a better future

As for this year - this cleanout will be done in a week or 2 and after that the committment to win one with everyone leaving will be huge and our injured players (of whom we have heaps remember) - Marshall, Lawrence, Tuqiri, Payten will all be back although we have perhaps lost Dwyer

I agree boonboon.

If these close 'friends' can't win a premiership with the motivation of - this is our last year all together, then they never will!! Thus a clean out is well and truely due.

i like -

8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Blair
13\. Dwyer

14\. Fulton/Rhino
15\. BMM
16\. Begovich/Groat
17\. (if Fulton plays add prop here as he can cover the backs)

Ive read some rumours that we are chasing Gallen, can't see us having any chacne at that though if true

Unfortunately, the Salary Cap pretty much wouldnt allow you to have a $1.5M Backrow… But who knows in todays age???
