Who is planning on renewing their membership?

I've resigned for 2 people and added a cub membership for my first bub due in 6 weeks…

hammer I don't know how you pulled that one off.

Two years ago I tried to sign up my unborn daughter but the online portal wouldn't permit the purchase because the birthdate was in the future. I called Tigers Membership and told them that I wanted to have the youngest ever member. They said that they won't allow it (due to the same above issue) and I would have to wait until she was born. Apparently it was an NRL issue (?).

I spoke to the NRL and they said "typical Tigers….other clubs would let you. Call the Bulldogs, they would sign her up for sure".

Funny.

Anyway, despite my annoyance, when my bub was born I called the tigers on the day and said here I am to sign the youngest member. They were matter of fact and said they signed an hour-old member last month. Wow, talk about a way to shoot me down. Crikey.

Another positive Tigers interaction!

Thanks for the congrats Bigsirro

Wow. How bad is that when they reject your money for a system issue!? Now that's inept management. Not sure how they did it for me, but they did…

So 76% either have, or are going to renew/sign up in 2016\. Quite a surprise given how many said that memberships would drop off significantly.

Not really when you consider the sample size of the forum being actual die hard Wests Tigers fans that are pretty much rusted on…And most would think Club before individual...if that was the reason for not renewing...

Sending a message because they believe it's a shambles is another reason I see posted here which is fair enough to...but It's not hurting them more the Club...

If the official Wests Tigers facebook page is anything to go by I would suggest the figure not renewing would be much higher,,,

Yeah but there'd be even more rusted on fans again who don't use social media or the like who would be renewing. Older blokes and lasses who will sign up come what may.

Solid.
I will be drinking 18% more, which will likely result in 36% more noise, 75% of which will be profanity directed at the referees/opposition/weather.
End result, my wife will be 100% not impressed.

haha, GOLD! Where are the positive feedback buttons when you need them.

I lol'd. I'm getting my young fella signed up as well. Start him young.

My little boy's a second-year member now. The difference in 2016 is that I'm bringing him over from Perth on one of my trips so he can make his first (and probably last) visit to Leichhardt.

What a great memory - have a wonderful time together!!

That's a real shame - hope they have improved their PR. Bet bubs makes a cute tiger!

Most clubs are increasing their membership numbers by 10-15% annually.
We have dropped 26% judging by the numbers posted here,
Thats a turnaround of 40%.
In any business that is significant.

Did I say it was good?

I said that only 13% of people have definitely decided not to renew, far less than I expected given the initial support for Farah.

I think a few are misrepresenting the point I was making.

I definitely want to, bit of a hard time financially, so may not be able to.

My intentions to renew are only increased by the current dramas. This is when the club needs us. My passion for the club isn't something I can turn off. :sign:

I usually have a spare seat with my family pass, so you are welcome to it when available and can PM if you wish. There are also some interstate or distant forumers that may take up a ticketed option and send you the seating that they cannot utilise.

Either way, I'm sure one of your fellow supporters/forumers will be able to help out.

You're a gentleman mate, thank you.
We have our first baby on the way, so it is just a question of prioritising for 12 months or so while we take care of the newest tiger cub to join the WT clan. I think I might just go for one stadium in 2016 so that I can contribute to the club too.

Your offer is really fantastic, and a much better example of what this community is about than all the tripe and vitriol that has been flung about recently.

that sucks mate, hope things turn out alright for ya and we see you at the games soon enough!

would offer a seat or something, but just got a simple concession GA membership formyself as a uni student

Yes …. I've renewed again .... Although being a member is only in a manner of speaking. I prefer to say I have renewed my season pass as I don't feel the club treats me like a member of it's club.

Most of our 'members' I imagine wouldnt even have a clue what it is to be a real member, with voting rights and a say in things

Bit early to call it, don't you think?
