WHO IS SIMONA

I thought he played pretty well considering he is my choice next week to play with Ashford we have to get some consistancy in the backs ..injuries are killing us out wide.

I saw Lawerance tonight on the concorse and we will have to settle on a pairing because Chris is ginger in a big way not for months IMO.

It was one thing to perform against the Knights, but I think the big Warriors backs might test him out a fair bit.

I dont know those Knights backs are pretty big and were fired up.

I think Tim had a great debut, didn't look out of his depth at all.

tim somona had an excellent debut. safe in defence and showed glimpses of flair in attack. has to be in next weeks side and beau knows state cup

Harsh judges, he was great.

He dropped the ball because he recieved it when he shouldnt have, he was put under way too much pressure by more senior players for a debutant. Besides the dropped ball it was a great debut and i wouldnt hesitate in putting him in next week.

He lost it a few times in tackles when he appeared to be pushing a pass that wasn't on. He'll get over that with experience, it was the kind of stuff you can get away with in the 20s but not in first grade.

I thought he went quite well, few mistakes but there was a player out there wearing #14 who has played plenty of first grade and made worse clangers than he did. He will only get better, unlike others.

Never seen a more confident debut…. played well, but as Hybrid said... had a few clangers, but jeas... he was up against a centre and wing pairing that have made the best look average in Sau and Uate...

I think losing Lote made it harder for him too. Lote would have been instructed to keep in the kids ear and maintain his confidence. I agree he stood up and played well.

But I do have one question….we have at least 5 centres in state cup don't we? How come Sheens recruits from Under 20's and not Balmain Ryde and Western Suburbs?

Good debut for a young kid made a few mistakes but overall a solid game,i would be happy on that form for him to keep his spot until lawrence returns

I thought he went well. The whole team seemed to lose their way a little when Lote went off, and it must have been hardest of all for Simona.

Agree with others, I've seen worse debuts

Great debut imo considering the loss of Lote.

He dropped a couple of high pressure hospital balls, considering it was his debut players around him should know better.
Made some quick speedy runs which would have been even more effective with Lote on his outside, and i think he has the speed to compliment Benji if he happens to track down that side more often.

What i loved about Simona is he wanted to get involved. Made some quick dashes & wasn't scared to offload. I would like to see in the squad this week.
