Very harsh. In most games, Richards' general play has been at least solid, sometimes excellent. As well as his kicking and experience, that's why he was talked about as an Origin winger. He's been a great signing for the Tiges. As far as the replacement, good question as Simona will go to centre (I hope) with a winger from the lower grades called upon.

Richards has been on a bad run the last month, but he has not been bad in defense for us over the majority of the year. He just hasn't.

Richards has a great kicking game but as a winger he isn't that good. He isn't terrible but he isn't going to turn a game with his ability to create something out of nothing or even half a chance.

Tim Simona's the obvious one to come in if fit. If not then Stefano Taukafa becomes the next cab off the rank. He's a straight swap, winger for winger. Next would be Asipeli Fine but he's better off in the centres.

If Simona is not ready to return, Hitchcox gets my vote. Reckon it will depend on our second tier cap otherwise we could see Halatau or Thompson in the centres with Lulia on the wing.
