I think if we get flanno its a little warning to madge like if you don't do well we have your replacement right here which is what went wrong at souths. They had seibold which made madge lose focus on the task cause he was worried about his job personally im calling someone like a Brett white or a Geoff toovey to come in as assistants and have a specialist like joey is for parra come in when needed

There is an article where Shane Richardson refutes any suggestion of Seibold undermining Maguire. His comments contradict the common view suggesting quite the opposite of Seibold.

Hows the healing going?

We will see with our first few losses.

So in other words you are still bleeding on the floor

As I posted earlier, I was a little disappointed but after further consideration having Sheens appointed as coaching director and two assistants appointed for him it appears Maguire has been given a mild gelding.

Madge is going to get the support he needs. He is far from gelded despite your "adventerous" reading of the situation

So far the only thing Lee has proved to be so far is rich and out of his depth with a motor mouth, as a chair he has been extremely underwhelming

Well he’s no longer the boss when it comes to the coaching department, Sheens sits above him. And having his assistants he hired replaced isn’t really a show of confidence. Last year he was in complete control, he’s not anymore. Not even close

Not sure why you take things about Madge so personally. Nothing I said was incorrect. Has Sheens been put in to sit above him in the coaching department? Yes. Are the assistants he chose (who are hopeless) being replaced by people who are competent? Also yes.

He answers to Sheens now. It might be hard for you to stomach but it's true.

The denial over Madge still being Head Coach is up there with people deny Wests Tigers and still believe Wests Magpies/Balmain Tigers are still standalone NRL clubs.

No wonder the club is such an ordinary state when even some fans push political nonsense.

So Madge has been made to replace his assistants and now has Sheens sitting above him but he's still in complete control? And we're in denial? Okidoki.

2 coach club atm

60% sheens 40% madge

Sheens controls recruitment which madge says yes or no and madge controls the football team focus is solely on the football no more having to chase talent for madge or travel to meet with talent sheens controls all of that

Calm down, and go back and read what I said.

Madge being in place serves a purpose to be fair. At the first whiff of failure and pressure on the Board next year, he goes. The Board have in place a ready made replacement at the assistant coach level who they slide in to replace him. They come out of it looking decisive and proactive. Win win.

You lost your battle, you need to accept the judges decision.
You are chasing fantasies with YOUR ideas, how can Madge be held accountable for decisions made by Sheens?

I'd be all for Robbie having an increased role within the team. Given he's fresh out of the game he'd have a better understanding of it's modern evolution. He'd still have a pretty solid relationship with a lot of the playing group and a club legend. I feel he'd be a natural in the coaching arena.

if he wants to coach he can prove his wares in sg ball and work his way up. no more boys club. everything earnt on merit

Tim Sheens - coaching director & premiership winner
Madge - coach & premiership winner
Flanagan - possible assistant coach & premiership winner
2022 might not be a bad year after all ?

People who don't want us signing Flanagan in any capacity legitimately don't want us to succeed. Take a very smart rugby league man at his word, if he screws us over by idiotically doping our players, it's not like we haven't be screwed over before. Someone else will get him otherwise, and sometimes you got to be shrewd.

Why would anyone want him anywhere near our players?

I understand why you wouldn't. I'm just saying why he should. He has merit as a coach, regardless of the shady shit he has done, and he is eligible to coach. I also said, in any capacity. Surely he has something to offer?

Probably Peptides - HE IS A SCUMBAG!!!!!

Should not be part of the game in any capacity.

Who would you like to see as our assistant coaches Russ? I think Dean Pay would be a good defensive coach.

Not sure who is available but he would certainly be up there.

I'd like Pay and Henry myself.

I think Henry is a very smart boy - always thought he had IT.
