That is the most likely situation given it’s the same publication that has been trying to get him in the job in the first place. Very similar to Chammas backtracking when he was sure Maguire was gone.

I must say with all the experienced assistants around and how much pressure is on moving forward appointing 2 of Maguires mates is very underwhelming !
I did have the impression things had changed and the club was seeking to change the culture .. jobs for the boys is not cultural change!
