Good.

"Withdrawn interest" is probably immediately after he finds out that the club is going after someone else.

In other words, WT most likely told him he won't be getting the job.

The forum lashing must of been too much for him.
So who are we down to? Does anyone know if the club is interviewing more candidates or will it be a Cayless Carr pairing?

Interesting that Gardiner is on board as an assistant. That’s good news.

Couldn't access the article. Would be very happy if Gardiner joins up with the NRL squad.

Why are we going after Nathan Cayless?

Because we can’t get anyone else?

We're gonna ask Snoopy and Shane Millard to come back.

For everyone that says they don’t want Cayless, can you tell me why 😂 no one knows his credentials or what he’ll bring to the team.

As I said, he did a lot of work with the full time players outside of the game day 17 at the roosters during a COVID in preparing them for first grade with out actually playing any football.
Going off how well the roosters remained competitive the last two seasons with a fair injection of their rookies has got to have some weight in how he got his message accross.

Plus I’ve heard all the kiwi and islander boys really looked up to him and what he got across.

Because he's Madge's assistant coach for NZ. Madge got to choose the first two assistants, and they were both yes men that couldn't do the job. Time to look elsewhere imo.

Very happy with Gardiner though, thought he did some really good things with the KOE team.

NZ have done decent under Madge though, maybe with both of them there we could finally land some talent from the team.

Why? Madge has been here 3 years and he’s landed nothing from the NZ team. Don’t see Cayless making a difference. We’d be far better off getting Dean Pay, we don’t need any more yes men.
