Who Will be the 2012 Fullback?

If Lui is staying with us then i would move Marshall to fullback and play Lui 5/8 where he played most of his junior football and Play Jacob miller at halfback. I think Benji would be great at fullback with less defence and can play as he likes. Lawrence would also be great but i would not be moving him as he and Lote are lethal on the left hand side and we have really missed that combination this year.

Don't change what works:
Leave Benji at 5/8\. He is one of the best in the world after all.
Leave Lawrene at centre - he has worked hard to become one of the best centres in the NRL.
Leave Lote on the wing - that is the position he has always excelled in.
Brown - maybe but not enough confidence or aggression and it holds him back.

Tedesco as soon as he is deemed 'ready', and not a moment later.
Tedesco is a true fullback who works hard in attack, defence and organising from the back.
Tedesco doesn't need to be manufactured!

Geez I hope reddy wasnt our fullback signing. If Reddy or Brown go into next year as our fullback, again we will have the worst fullback in the competition (Not meant to be rude, but find a worse fullback).

I have no doubt either of them will be safe as houses, but you REALLY need your fullback to be a dominant player in your attacking raids (look at any good team), which I dont feel either of these guys can do, definetly not Brown anyway.

Too early for Siro in 2012

Benji will stay #6 - No chance he would be running back the kick chases, Too valuable.

I didnt mind him doing this in the 2005 Grand Final…. How did it go? Chink, Step, Run around, Flick... Probably the most replayed try in our history!

If Tigerdale is anything to go by it will be Michael Gordon…

it won't be through lack of trying…...

lol and that's as close as we'll get to a confirmation out of you - awesome

an out and out fullback with a boot and a half, would be very welcome here

well, until we get confirmation that the deal is done, what do u want me to confirm? i'm not going to make up that we have signed them, when we haven't.

if u can't read into my posts in this thread and the matty bell thread and figure out what is going on, there musn't be alot upstairs mate…...

i was just reading that one and I realise that you clearly stated "MIGHT BE" joining…

But you were very hush hush about exactly who... and now I think I know WHO you were talking about...

not suggesting you said he's signed...

To be fair to Drewby, Tigerdale; I didnt read his comments as being sarcastic; just realistic.

We appreciate all the hints we can get on these matters. Keep up the good work.

Michael Gordon is my favourite player outside the Tigers. Has speed to burn, a sharpshooter with the boot and can play at #1, #2 or #5 at a snap.

I'd be very happy if we signed Gordon, but people should also remember next year he'll be coming back from the exact same injury that Moltzen came back from this year.

Moltzen has always been overrated IMO but he is far from the player he was before the injury.

doubtful, but he is worth more to us than them, we will play him as a fullback, they will play him on the wing, given they have coote. He'd be on wingers money, and we'd be offering him Fullback money. If they go with flash ahead of coote, id hold coote in the same regard, he is also a brillant goal kicker, in NYC he kicked goals, he was the premier player in the age group from a young age, and with out injuries i imagine he would be alot higher up the pecking order in rep teams, had it not been for injuries.
If panthers are prepared to get rid of either id be ecstatic.

But…..unlikely
