At the start of this year I was optimistic.
We had Madge, who seemed to be running everything go out and recruit 2x assistant coaches. Those being Nathan Cayless and Gardiner.
Of which I thought Nathan Cayless was to be working on defense. At first I thought it was a bad decision as he would get the forwards firing but wouldn't be strategic enough with the backs and defensive structures. Then I heard him speaking about admiring the WT as a Granville kid.
How wrong was I.
This year we have gone entirely backwards.
We seem unable to develop or improve players on our own.
Many games we just seem SOFT. We get a try scored against us and go to sleep.
So I ask, who would harden the WT up? Who would you hire to work on our forwards for beef/tackling punch and who would you hire on defensive structures? Would you keep Cayless or go someone else?
