WHO'S UNDER PRESSURE TO HOLD THEIR POSITIO

To early to judge, but TT must find a position and own it . Our centres have yet to show they can perform over a long period, but like others i hope so. Doeihie shows promise, but as yet has only played half a game a 5/8. Madden shows promise, but its wait and see. So many pieces need to fall in place.

Blore is still a developing player... Garner however has been around a while now it's time for him to step up, take his game to the.next.level

Didn't he use to captain the u20s?
Should know it's now or he might not get another shot. We have plenty of young talent behind him

I think he may have captain our NSW Cup side. He was with Manly in the 20’s

Who is everyone's edge forward when you drop Garner

Get the cheque book out, no one within our squad is proven (yet).

Agree buy a second rower to replace Garner maybe Jordan rikki from the broncos

Hate to nit pick, but he played 60 minutes against Parra and 40 minutes against Manly. As you say he does show promise. He was outstanding in both outings.

Im not going to single out any particular player(s) at this point in time...we have many young guys who are expected to be NRL standard players such as D.Laurie..
The pressure will be on the older experienced players to lead by example and help the young guys develop their game...BJ,JTJ,JOEO etc have to play to their ability that made them NRL players...its a long season and the pressure is on all of the team to perform...
I think we should think "who will be the standout players" this year on our way to finals footy....

sidenote...Im very curious to see how Luke plays this year,he has everything going his way to lead this team to many victories ....and I think he will....

In the Manly trial he was impressive - however, that's partly cos Manly were woeful. When AD came on, they simply waited for something to happen when he got the ball. He was able to pick and choose the plays. That won't happen in the real world. But what I liked was that he made decisions to set plays in motion and that's all you can do.

When Doueihi came on he was playing against mostly Manly reserve graders aswell. Of course you’d expect him to carve up part timers

Although to be fair Manly played like a NSW cup team anyways ?

I actually have Garner as a Smokey to surprise people this year, but he’s probably most under pressure out of our forwards

I would think most people will say Blore.

However, Blore needs to show a bit more when he's fit because he can't just take it off the back of a couple of big hits on Nathan Brown.

Have to admit I still have a smile from ear to ear everytime I think about him putting one on Brown.

My point is that Blore is not back for a while so who are all these experts putting in when they drop Garner.

I agree with what you are saying and I actually like Garner and I think he would be great with a bit more work on his defensive lapses and with Blore out injured think he is pretty safe for a while.

I have to say I was really impressed with what I saw of Kelma Tuilagi, but he is not even in the top 30 at this stage so we can't even think about using him until later in the year.

I would say Garner, Mbye, Brooks, Liddle, Packer, Mikaele and maybe AJ, but what do i know

Laurie is under pressure - Mbye trained at fullback all off-season and its his 2nd starting game in NRL

Kepoa is under pressure from Talau

BJ is undrer pressure from Talau

Mbye is under pressure from Douehi at 5/8 and Talau and Simpkins bench

Garner is under pressure from Blore when he returns or from CheeKam

Liddle is under pressure from Simpkin

Packer, Mikaele and Utoikamanu are all under pressure from Musgrove and Tuki Simpkins

Gotcha ?

For me it’s the lady who sits two rows behind me in the grandstand at Leichhardt Oval. If she starts up with her inane whining and whinging across every god damn play again this year I’m gonna lose it !! She’s on notice!

Without a doubt mybe has the most pressure, both him and everyone In league don’t know what’s his best position. He also has the added pressure because of how much he’s being played and the fact he hasn’t had the best stint at this club.

Next is liddle, he’s been with us for 5 years now and only managed 40 odd games, we’ve got a rookie that has big raps on him. Liddle is also of contract after this season. He hasn’t had much game time lately due to injury and Harry grant.

Joey would be 3rd because he is off contract this year and he didn’t exactly have the best season last year. Needs to do more with the ball and defend better.

All players that are in the final year of contract and just about any player that cops a match missing injury, as with the new found competition the replacement may shine enough to retain the spot.

You would think this is pretty obvious. LUKE BROOKS. We know how could he can be but he needs to step up and be a leading half or the tigers should let go of him.

More than pressure to hold spot.

**We the Tigers need Luke Brooks to find his Voice**

He is pivotal to our success in 2021. No more excuses Luke.

Gotta be Mbye. A lot of competition for spots in the backline. I can see AJ and Tommy having a running battle all year for that wing spot.
