Why are the Rooster better?

Goes to show, the Roosters aren't better. We're just plain dog poop! Actually, not just plain. We're the stinkiest poop ever to compete in the NRL.

The Roosters looked pretty ordinary when they were put under some pressure.

They badly miss the agression and meters gained by Jake Friend. I tipped them as favorites, but with Friend, Cordner and other injuries i can't see them in front of Storm,Penrith, and Souths at years end.

Daine Laurie beats Tedesco in this frame and Collins comes from behind and wraps him up.
He holds on I would say an extra 3 seconds after his told to ‘MOVE’ one I was thinking a penalty. But is that a sin bin offence considering that Daine is actually in front of the whole Roosters side in that play?

Yes I think so. Minimum 6-again, possible sin-bin for professional hold-down. Ref calls neither.

Nobody really came online to complain about it, because it's a bit rich to complain about the refs when you've just lost by 40, but still horrendous refereeing from a horrendous ref.

This no call and the one when Teddy slowed Talau down we’re horrendous refereeing. Yes we got belted but I would have been demanding to speak to the refs boss, as I’m sure the big clubs would. Those calls can change games 100%.

Absolutely. You can see it also affects the players

Absolutely. You can see it affect the players as well. When they're not getting calls go their way & adversely goes the way of other teams, they get deflated & their attitude drops. Then the square ups happen when the game is pretty much done & dusted, to make the statline look like a more even contest.

I hate referee bashing, but you have call a spade, a spade.

Week after week it becomes demoralising. I don’t know what else the club can do. They hired Badger but it’s clearly not helping. Does Madge ever approach the refs boss to discuss why his team is so heavily penalised each week and what can be done about it? It doesn’t just ruin our premiership campaign, it ruins the whole game.

It's not just our team that cops it though. The Warriors cop their fair share too. The Bulldogs have only had 1 penalty awarded to them in 2 games! Are the refs saying the Dogs opponents have been that well disciplined?

I'm not saying the game is rigged. But there seems to be some sort of influence.
