Why Can't Brooks Kick?

Here's the numbers for repeat set ingoal kicks for the NRL last season. Brooks' numbers aren't that bad, bearing in mind he was sharing kicking duties with Moses half the season. 60% more likely to come up with a repeat set than give away a 7 tackle restart.

Those stats show forced drop outs snd dead in goal. You've got to take into consideration the kicks that are taken and the player makes it into the field of play and the kicks that dont make it into the in goal at all.

When are you Forum keyboard warriors going to realise that you cant have a star studded team unless your the Rorters Ivan CleaCleary has put a squad together who are playing to the best of their ability ISP and First grade have put in magnificent efforts in the last two weeks especially the Firsts who have put in monumental efforts which shows they are playing for their coach , supporters and in particular they are playng for each other we have a vey good playing squad this year in ISP and NRL lets leave it to Ivan and sit back and enjoy whats unfolding.

Hear hear

Lawrence was good as well, making good metres and sucking the life out of their right edge, so some are going to struggle attacking their whipping boys this week.

Everyone will start to keep quiet when it comes to brooks. I have thought amongst a team of players that aren't consider stars he has fitted in quite nice and quietly. Be quiet and do your job and when it matters shine. Nothing more we can ask of him because the best in the game can be made to look like fools. Tigers have managed to achieve that two weeks in a row

2 more repeat sets for Luke and Zero 7 tackle sets conceded in 2018..

His bombs along with Benji were very difficult for the Storm back 3 to handle

I'll keep a tally for you in 2018…. so far 1 repeat set gained ..Zero 7 tackle sets conceded..

I notice you didn't mention when those players give up 7 tackle sets tho..happened a bit from them in Rd 1..

Having multiple home grounds doesn't help Brooks , different surfaces , different in goals depths , how the surfaces change when wet , hard , soft , dry , dewy etc

Many NRL / SOO coaches would have taken great interest in the results of Marshall's bombing raids v Melbourne

He can see that long dark cloud forming behind him by the name of Nathan Cleary and is responding accordingly. Is he a superstar? No way, but over the first two weeks, he’s been solid as a rock.

I liked it when he almost put one on Billy the cats chin…

Everyone has always wanted too...nice discipline Luke..

Tonight was his best game at the club imo.
Never seen as much intensity from him.

I agree. He had intent and some of his defence was exceptional. It must be a team thing because rheir attitude against the storm was "we dont give a rats if its billys 300th", and where i was watching, a few commented on his little get together with slater where he didnt take a step back and virtually goaded him into having a crack.

His attitude is very different and its great to see.
