Agreed bashir…..Sheens moved players all over the place due to one - ONE - injury

We lost our 1st and second choice fullback , don't forget brown ,

And don't forget he used humble , reedy and Beau at full back before making the tough decision to move moltz who had performed well in the position last year

Sirro is 4 games into his first grade career and you're comparing him with Moltzen??? Moltzen has Sirro covered for speed, but I've seen both players ball playing skills and Sirro wins that battle. Unfortunately Miller is no chance.

sirro.. ball playing skils?? how many tries has he set up with his "ball playing skills" ??
now that sirro is at no.6 benji has been playing 1st receiver and been playing VERY BAD
moltzen gives benji the option to go second receiver as we have seen on numerous times, not to mention they trained there the ENTIRE pre-season.

It's all too late now anyway. The constant chopping and changing of players has killed the hopes of this team for 2012.

It certainly hasnt helped has it?

It is quite ironic that Sheens is so wedded to keeping so many things the same - always carries a back on the bench; always picks the same players and so on. But when it comes to the halves, it has been a lottery for the past 6 years and looks like continuing to be so into the future.

Yep, they trained there the entire off-season, and look how that worked out. You haven't seen enough of Sirro. This time next year your opinion of him will be different.

They moved Moltz way to soon, If they would have stuck with him at 7 I reckon he would have been amazing. The combination had just started with Benji and given time i think they would have worked each other out and played to each others strengths, but we will never know. All we can do now, is hope that the Tigers show Moltz as much faith as he showed to the Tigers last year.IMO sign Moltz to a new deal soon.

didn't work out that bad… could've been better if he wasn't moved out of it in 2 games
maybe, i havent see enough of sirro but the fact is atm moltz would be better in the halves with benji rather than sirro... when you're outside the top 8, idc what 2013 is, i want our main attacking player to play at his best and benj can reach that level with moltzen rather than sirro

agreed , reddy would have been my choice , if teddy was not injured and played a little poor he would have been given time , ready if he got the same would have taken the roll on nice , but no we just keep moving players around , ready is a good player and after a few weeks he would ahve been fine at the back

100% agree, but Sheens persists with musical positions, none of which work.

Still would of liked to see Chishom given a go even as our utility off the bench

You could even play him out of the 9 jersey to spell Robbie

He's been going well for BRET all year, plus he has a kicking game and good pace. A bit baffling why he hasn't been given a go Happy.

Not a fan of Moltzen as a 7 he has never had a kicking game and cant organize. He is a only a no 14 in my opinion because he is not the number one pick in any position.Being able to hit a hole at speed off Benji should not give you a walk up start in first grade.Miller or Chisholm should be our 7 and Beau should be fullback with Tedesco injured.

I like Moltz at 7, I reckon we play ok with him there as well.

I reckon Sheens views fullback as more important in the modern game then halfback, well at least while we have Farah and Marshall at 6 and 9\. I reckon that is why they moved him to fullback.

Marshall despite wearing 6, has been our halfback for a number of years, in the modern game the difference between half and 5/8 is usally just which side of the field they stand and who does more kicking, Benji has always been the go to man for us, Im confident that Marshall and Sirro will work as a combination, we are 3 from 4 with that combo, hardly struggling with that. With Marshall at 7, Moltz does help with a bit of ball playing from the back as well, which will come back in this week to alleviate further play making pressure from Marshall.

i dont understand.. people are calling moltzen useless at 7, but when he played there a few years ago he killed it..

he was given a VERY BRIEF stint at #7 recently and was shifted…. because he didnt perform in this short period he's classed "useless"....

funny how the same people aren't as harsh on their lover boy benji.... who has been in the halves for over 5 years and still cant get it right...

Moltzen is a good player but he needs someone like Hasler or Bellamy to reach his potential. Sheens can't do it.

Because Sheens has finally got his way… It has been his lifelong dream while at the Tigers to make Benji a 7\. I presume he has always met resistance 'off' the field in the dark corridors of Concord whenever he has tried it in the past. But now he has a prodigal son playing 6, I'd say there is less resistance and Sheens is a happy little camper...

Get your kids a new Benji #7 jumper for Xmas boys and girls... He wont be wearing 6 again!!!

Because he's useless at 7

What he said.

I disagree…he is actually our best option at #7...who else do we have?

Miller...not wanted and has shown little in the times he played NRL.
Humble....well....enough said....why wasnt he released before June 30?
Waters...next....
Benji never will be a #7 failed in 2009 and again in 2012...

and given Moltz will be around the next 3 years, Sheens may as well use him in this position....

No kicking game and not much in the way of organisational skills- he's not the type of player to lead a team around the field, that's why he's not a 7\. He's a running 5/8, and he's not as good as Benji in that regard either.

He has a natural 5/8 running game I agree but he has great communication on the field and would be a great halves accomplice with Benji, should have been given another shot - atleast at 5/8
