So 5 rounds in and i think we have seen enough to form early opinions.
For mine he has had instant traction and the team have bought in and are enjoying his approach.
I think he may be the coach we have been looking for. The two tell tale signs for me are the development of Josh Aloiai and Michael Chee Kam. These two have flapped around for a number of years, as have a lot of our younger players with potential. The trouble is is that for some of these guys have had average or uninterested coaches for most of the top grade career.
The difference we are seeing now with Maguire and how potential is turning into talent is the thing ive been looking for since the good Tim Sheens days.
Its about time.
