Why will we improve in 2016?

I do agree with Russell that with we can improve with some modifications and some work. I'm really not sure though that Taylor is the man to do that. I think we have obviously under-performed this year and a lot of that has to do with JT.

I don't know how anyone can have confidence whilst he is the head coach.

Steve - JT is not the problem imo.

I accept he has made a few errors and I am sure he would admit to that as well in hindsight.
People on here have said he has been given a lot more latitude than Potter (I was a great fan of Potter) but I don't think that is correct.

Most of the changes occurred off the field - JT may have been allowed to buy players, but he couldn't as there was nothing in the bikky tin. All he has been able to do was be allowed to say yes to get rid of experienced players to reduce salary cap pressure. Basically he was then left with a bunch of youngsters with little or no experience.

You can't put old heads on young shoulders, a couple of problem areas he was not allowed to plug has given grief in games - i.e. centre and second row etc.

So, I don't think he has been given any more latitude than Potter in reality. Give him a plus for S and C solution and a minus for Kidwell, Reddy and other hangers on.

Think we need a really good defence coach and a good halves coach (AJ if possible) - don't need anyone else.

Did you happen to see Taylor walking around yesterday at half time talking to himself with no one listening ,sorry your comments are ridiculous ..the players by there actions alone have made it quite obvious that Taylor is on borrowed time . This team is the worst coached team in the NRL the hype around the talent of youth the club has Is also questionable ,time for some reality Taylor has had this team for just on 12 months can you honestly state that there is anything to be positive about moving forward, time to put blame where it belongs and that is the coach!

My comments are ridiculous are they?

Common thread here as others have pointed out.

Sheens/ Benji/Farah
Potter/ Farah
Taylor/ whole dressing room cos he is utter rubbish (So Milky says)

I Don't believe the players are against JT to start with.
Think it is more some Forum members wishing it were true because they have an issue with the coach.
If by some fluke it is true - there is one way to stop all this rubbish.

Take a player vote - those for the coach, those against the coach.
Sack those against the coach - no matter who they are! SIMPLE.

This has to stop!!!!! Player A doesn't like the coach so get rid of the coach.

Get a bit real Snake - Does the Board run the WT or do the players?

Russell you can't have if both ways i.e. you are saying don't sack the coach but take a player vote and all those players against the coach (even if they are the majority of players) sack them all.

Anyone who thinks JT has lost the dressing room clearly has no idea or doesn't listen to what the players actually have to say; rather making their own assumptions to justify their opinion.

The losses in the last 2 weeks come down to penalties and errors, nothing more and nothing less.

When we held onto the ball and played to JT's improved game plan the two weeks prior, we looked awesome and there wasn't anyone making such stupid accusations.

So you really believe a player would come out and say that JT has lost the dressing room when they are asked? You are off your head

If they wanted him sacked they would….isn't that how it went down on the 2 previous occasions...? see above

No junior, but they wouldn't come out every week reiterating exactly what the coach is saying.

I watch all the footy programs, read all the articles, tweets and posts, closely following what our players are saying and doing throughout the week.

We might not like what Taylor is doing, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the playing group is on board with what JT is trying to achieve.

Better screw your head back on Milky, you have school tomorrow…

The bottom line to all of this is when the team is running last with a team that has this incredible talent ,international players all on the paddock at the same time since who knows when and play as they did yesterday as supporters do we really believe that all is not well at Concord . If they wanted him sacked they would ,I think running last might be a little bitty incite into this .

Wait a minute Newtown - have you understood what I had to say?

What do you mean I can't have it both ways.

I want JT as the coach - he has 2 years to go on his contract.

What I said was "if there are players against JT staying on as the coach - sack them!"

Both ways ?????????????????? Lay off the grog Mate!

Obviously they are going to defend their coach, the media don't show you everything.

We are a team that is not winning and with that comes a lot of flak directed at players and coaches. People are always looking for a reason or a person to blame for a dismal season and I think not much of the stuff being said at present is based on fact. Granted Taylor and to a lesser extent Farah have to accept some responsibility for our dismal season but basically gone are the days when you can win the Melbourne cup with a plodder and we have plenty of them

Actually Russell its quite confusing what point you are trying to make.

On one hand you state we cant sack Taylor because he has a contract that has another 2 years to go, also you have mentioned on a few occasions that we have no money to pay out that contract.

Now you offer that we sack all the players that don't support JT.

Say 5 players didn't support JT. How on earth can we afford to pay out 5 players contracts if we cant afford to pay out JTs?

Also why do we honour JTs contract but not the players?

It sounds like you are contradicting yourself.

Ah, the world is back to normal: the haters are back!!

Not a sound when we won over the last fortnight, but lose one game and off they go again.

If you do not have something positive to say, except spitting bile, then do not post anything.

Some of you keep bringing up Potter. Fair dinkum, he was a very ordinary coach, with nothing to offer. Give it a rest.

We have some world class players, Teddy, Woods, Kapow, Moses, Simona and sometimes Nofo. However, that is less than half a team. With our very ordinary backups what do you expect?

Brooks has lost the plot, Farah is well passed it, Ava, Sue, Lovett, Sironen et al, are reserve graders having to play first grade. We will slowly buy some players over the next couple of years and this should keep most of the true fans happy.

Taylor was employed to improve the team over the next 3 to 4 years. He will do this. Have patience and our lot will improve.

Thanks Pokies, that's exactly the point I was making. Russell I was very sober when I made the statement.
