Purtell has always played well against the WT and I'd take him over Blake.

Sammut would be a great utility and I'd take him over moltzen.

Just my opinion! Anyone else on their roster look worth it?

I agree Purtell was a good safe player from when he last played in Australia. I wouldn't bother even thinking of Sammut, organized like Benji, but with no skill.

Highly doubt any squad changes will happen until 2014 tbh unless mid season signings.
I'm confident Potter will utilize our squad to the best of its ability so we aren't lacking in any department.

Pretty sure Purtell retired after having a heart attack during a game

It is quite obvious that West Tigers are lacking an extra hard headed prop or two. I am sure that Mick Potter has connections with U.K. based super league props who would be quite happy to join West Tigers.

I would like to keep a few hundred thousand under the cap.. Reason being the club defiantly has some quality forwards in the lower grades . I would use the money to bring them up and down rather than sign a mediocre NRL forward on reasonable money feel there could be a smokey or 2 there!

If he is coming where is he going to play. WT have enough at 5/8, 1/2, lock and 2nd row. Maybe he can fill in for the position WT are critically short 0n- prop!

BMM, WOODS, BIG RED, BUCHANAN, GROAT! You could play Blair and Pettyborne their as well, amongst others.
Maybe we should buy Thaiday or Scott? How about big Willie? He played well last year.
Do you think the cap is open and we can have all the best props going round?
We have what we have and they aren't too bad in my opinion!
