Wille Mason Thread

absolutely not + not even looking, surely with folkes as fitness coach and a team with a good reputation bringing in mason would jeapordise both these things.

oh thats an original quote..

i think that is teh 1,453,657,237 time its been used this season..

leave him alone mate…
he is just doing his best to be recognized and he doesn't need you giving him a gobful

ohhhhhhh thats not fair🙁

Thanks ParraPrichy… being recognised is the least of my concerns. I just wanted to say that I disagree with signing Mason. If T-Rexx is worried about a lack of originality in my posts then I promise I will try and do better next time (might even do a search on the forums to see if my comment has been used previously)

Since we missed out on Lima, I reckon we should recruit Willie for next year(only)….Think about it he knows he's on his last chance and if he fails its over red rover for Willie in all sporting codes(maybe not for AFL!!)...if he impresses he potentially gets another NRL contract, if he impresses he may also attract interest from abroad in both Rugby and ESL...right now nobody wants him either in the NRL or abroad!..I say sign him up where the rooters pay $300k and we pay the remainder $100k(first grade incentive payments).....Big Willie come on down!!

CANT believe guys like Taumata get so many chances , when theres so many honest ,good up and commers, giving there all, week in week out,who if had the chance would take it with both hands and never look back..i'd be peeved, if i was one of those players on the fringe of being selected, only to see a player who has been given now his 5th chance ,being picked before me…

But then again we did sign Taumata, who has been sacked by 4 clubs…

Taumata single handidly didnt bring down two clubs…. only himself

Mason goes along with other trouble makers, the Doggies go from seller dwellers to Contenders in a matter of two seasons.

Mason will leave Roosters, and they will go in the same direction as Doggies did in a matter of two seasons..

I think it will take less than two seasons to be honest.

With the return of Ryles combined with the young Kiwi/ex Manly prop and add Carney and the returning Mini.

I honestly think the Roosters are on the path to the Top 8 in 2010\. If Smith can find a genuine leader to replace Fitzy

No chance - Club has no depth.

Dont be surprised if Wille scores a very good paying gig in Japan. I just hope he doesn't urinate in the street over there because it is treated a bit different over there.

No he won't, not under any circumstances. The team would want immediate results for their investment and not be prepared to wait for the bloke to learn how to contribute at the set pieces, let alone what to do at the breakdown. I'd genuinely fear for his safety in any sort of contest for possession. There's a reason that Rugby teams only sign RL backs.
