Wille Mason Thread

If true, I can't see Mason & Folkes mending fences. I'd rather Folkes. Plus Mason is a .. well, I'll just say, "unpleasant jerk", to save myself from being censored by mods.

I don't think we should read too much into it.Benny was on Talkin Sport in early November saying Tuqiri and Lima would be announced "very soon". I don't think he holds that much sway at our Club.

I saw the story by Danny Weidler on Nine tonight and he did end it with something very similar to what Danos said. The impression I got was that it wasn't going to happen.

lets see, mason has publicly stated:

* he doesnt rate farah (before 2008 origin selection)
* said folkes was the reason the dogs didnt win more comps in the 00s
* screamed 'lets smash ellis, he's a f*ggott' into the channel 9 camera during our round 3 game against them, then preceded to have his arse handed to him on several occasions

yeah would be great for team harmony….

Heard it on Nine news tonight and myself ad the family all responded to it at the same time with the same response, and that response was:

NOOOOOOO.

Bellamy could see something in him, I guess if was used properly he could be a good buy.

I am not supporting his past but think about the impact he could provide.

He was starting to get back to some good form toward the end of last year.
If cheap could be a brilliant signing.
But also could be a total disaster if he plays poorly.

Roosters should make him rot at Henson Park as H2O and Hydration manager for the Jets. He's not good enough to play park footy.

Probably in the minority here, but I would say yes. I have never liked him, but only because he was a loudmouth and played for the Dogs. Its rubbish that he would be bad for team harmony, footballers can be enemies for years in opposite clubs, but they are mates within 5 minutes of coming together. Most sportsman are pretty knockabout blokes willing to build bridges pretty quick.

A Line breaking, off loading forward is something we have been missing for years. He was starting to show glimpses at the back end of last season. If Craig Bellemy was desperate to get him, then I think that is saying something.

Throw in Mason with Galloway and Ellis and Cayless, and we will have one of the best packs in the competition.

If we have to sign a few wildcards, take a few risks (Mason, Tuquiri) im all for it. 4 years of the same rubbish. Time to take a gamble. Its all well and good to have great model citizens and people who raise a huge amount for charity but it won't get us a Top 4 spot.

Yeah no thanks. Mason is a waste of space on and off the field.

Agree there….Mason plays about 1 decent game in 20...forget about the off field stuff..If he was in his prime maybe...

If he was an asset...........you would think the Rorters would want to hold on to him.........given their forward losses already,,,,,
