My concern with Naden is that we keep buying every troubled player in the NRL.
Roberts, Leilua...now Naden?
Maybe Madge thinks he can give them the discipline to turn it around.

Is he really that troubled?
Got caught doing some coke, not the first and wont be the last

Edene Gebbie will be an option once he settles in.

Yes, he is tough and fast. I'd have him ahead of Naden.

Plus he can play fullback if something were to happen & we needed to shift players around.

Wouldn't go near Oates, he's a broken biscuit. As for AJ, he had a much better game yesterday but his hands are a problem for sure. Did pull off some good tackles though for a change.

Until we buy someone, I'd have:

Mbye centre and push Talau to the wing. Bringing Simpkin onto the Bench.

Mbye is great defensively especially with communication.

Agree for 2021 think we are more balanced with mmbye at centre talau on wing just don't think kepoa will make it.
It allows a quality 9 on the bench to replace Liddle win win

I'd like to see us give Fitzgibbon a go, blood him in. He's supposedly 1 of the fast players. How many players have we let go to other clubs that are fast? Addo-Carr, Korebete, Papenhuzen. All to the Storm as well. Would hate to see us let another player with speed go & have success elsewhere. 2 things a coach can not coach, enthusiasm & speed.

Kiah cooper looked pretty handy on the weekend, not sure what his natural position is though

I could have the wrong player, but pretty sure he did well in the Manly trial also - including putting on some big hits in defense. I think he may come on at centre?

Battling of which winger was worse: Kepaoa vs Shibasaki

Shibasaki was worse. He might be the worst back in the NRL.

He was good for us yesterday

Fitzgibbon's pace causes problems for defences and he is also strong. Let's hope the Club works hard with him and Gebbie to get them into our NRL team.

Cini is doing well in reserve grade and could earn himself a debut. There's also the option of Mbye centre and Talau wing but they'd both be somewhat out of position

Hopefully we sign up a winger like Naden soon enough

I like Talau in the centre’s, no doubt he will be banned from going for the intercept in the video session this week. I’d give Kepaoa one more chance and tell the blokes in reggies they’re all auditioning for FG. If BJ could get himself in shape I’d be looking at him as an impact player off the pine. Our major signings need to be around the edges we need players who can help our halves out in defence.

I agree. You look at Sivo at parra and what radradra did before him and nothing beats pace and strength. Every time Fitzgibbon ran the ball yesterday he looked dangerous. I would rather give him a shot.

That's just insane You've obviously never seen him play. He's at least a year away from first grade. At this stage of his development he's barely a nsw cup player and will be under increasing pressure to hold his spot.

JAC, Koro, Pap had all been playing footy for most of their lives. I think Fitzgibbon has been playing a couple of years. He doesn't have a whole childhood of learning the intricacies of positions, tactics etc.

They both played NSW cup for a couple of years before jumping into first grade. Fitzgibbon has played two games, a long way to go.

I sense the impatience on a lot of the peeps here... he's a kid and hopefully is learning from this experience... I don't know the answer but to give him more time on the field... how many games? again I don't know but he does have a lot of upside.

Pretty much my view. I was less than pleased with his simple errors but he's a kid that makes kid mistakes. Maguire sees something there.

Kepaoa is a real conundrum.

He does some really really good things. Then he just loses me with one or two dumb plays.

I think there is something there we should try to develop.

I think he will come good.
