Robbie Farah, Chris Lawrence and Aaron Woods have been named in the VB Kangaroos train-on squad for the end-of-season Test against New Zealand and the Prime Minister’s XIII match in Papua New Guinea.
The Prime Minister’s XIII match against Papua New Guinea will be played in Port Moresby on September 23 with the end-of-season Test between the Kangaroos and New Zealand to be played at Townsville’s Dairy Farmers Stadium on October 13.
Further players will be added to the squad as teams are eliminated from the Telstra Premiership. Players may also be selected in the teams from outside the training squad.

I hope Farah and Lawrence stand down to fully recover and have a full off season

I want Tigers players to put the Tigers first

I even think Sheens should stand down from coaching the Australian side

Maybe the reason for his lack lustre season is he is stale

Considering we lacked depth in the Centres last year, he was always gona get picked in a 'train-on squad'…

I'd take a guess, but of the Australian Centres running around in the NRL, only the following are World Class:

Justin Hodges
Greg Inglis
Josh Morris
Chris Lawrence

Lawrence was lucky to even play first grade this yr. The poor kid is never going to be the same. Simon Dwyer on a much smaller scale

It is only the train-on squad. Still a long way from actually playing for Australia. But still, congratulations to the boys, and I hope they all benefit from the experience…

He hasn't look out of place when in the Aussie side but with those halves I bet even Moltzen would look good.

Proud of Woods.

The two Cowboys centres should be there before Lawrence , Moga should be there before Lawrence .

If anyone has earnt a test jumper this year its Woods. I'm quite confident he'll get a taste of test footy this year.

Onya Aaron Woods, very very well deserved! Start of a long and impressive rep career.
Robbie - deserved but I hope you rest up and recover over the off-season.
Lawrence - lucky to be picked but I agree that with decent halves and a decent backline he'd look a lot better than he has for us this year.

usually i'd be annoyed at the selection of a player such as lawrence given current form, however its about time we had some players picked for rep teams, whether they deserve it or not… its been too long the other way...
