Sorry tig prmz but you aren't allowed to have an opinion on here unfortunately. The do-gooders will riot.

Samoa v Fiji both our boys are having good games Samoa have targeted Koroibete with the high ball and he has been really strong under the high ball and he has hit the ball up with venom

Jesse has played 40 minutes unchanged and has done a ton of work He is developing a serious engine

Doing all this despite copping an accidental knee from one of the Sims brothers in the head which opened him up

Just a reminder this game is replayed 3.30 on 73 tomorrow afternoon

Feel like all I'm doing these days is agreeing with ya happy. on the money again with re to the game so far. Stats listed koro with a line break musta miss that. how was it?

Sue ended up playing roughly 65-70mins straight. Just kept going solidly through all the tough work in the middle even though at times it looked like he was out on his feet. Should really come back with plenty of confidence in his ability after this World Cup.
I said after the English game that Koroibete was showing good signs, again today he backed it up with another strong showing. Powerful runs, taking his chances down the touch line when he had a bit of space and looking comfortable under the high ball. Samoa didn't really test him out positionally in defence but next week against the Aussies will be his big exam as they will throw a lot of attack down his flank. The English commentators loved koro by the end of the game, they couldn't stop praising him.

Thoughts now that Billy Slater looks like he will out of the rest of the tournament with a Posterior Cruciate injury

Hayne or Inglis at fullback

My personal opinion is we lose far more taking Inglis out of the centres

So for me its Hayne at fullback Inglis at 3 and either Tate or Jennings at 4

Great player ratings from nrl.com for Jesse…

13\. Sauaso Sue: Stung early by an accidental knee from Ashton Sims, but that didn't stop him from being Samoa's hardest-working forward with a team-high 119 metres and 35 tackles. 7.5

And Marika…

2\. Marika Koroibete: Was peppered with over a dozen kicks from the Samoan playmakers but passed every test with flying colours. Brought the crowd to their feet with a signature bullocking run down the left sideline in the second half. Made a team-high 220 metres, seven tackle breaks and two line breaks. 8.5

After watching the last game for teddy, koro and sue…

They were all the best on the park for their sides...

This is a great position for wests tigers to be in. The future is bright!

I hate seeing injuries but slater deserved it.

Why? No-one deserves to be injured, and miss the chance to play for and win a world cup.

Haha, yeah. Especially after Slater the clown single-handedly cost Australia the World Cup in 08\. He at least deserved the chance to stuff it up for them again…ah well

Koro was pretty close to man of the match this morning, he played phenomenal in attack but didn't get tested in defence at all except for a few high balls. Got me buggered why they announce the MOTM with 10 minutes remaining in these games, plenty can happen in that last 10 to sway the decision.

Fiji played very well as a team, everybody did their share, a well deserved victory. Samoa played a lot of one out, selfish football. Surely they could of picked a more creative halfback than Ben Roberts? He put in one or two decent grubbers but his bombs were predictable and just easy pickings for the Fijian back three.

Sue played very well also, was a bit surprised that he stayed down for so long after copping the grazing, accidental knee. Didn't look to be much contact at all TBH but perhaps it stunned him or something. Hopefully Ashton Sims goes on a seek and destroy mission next week against Smith, Thaiday, Bird and some other knobheads in the Aussie pack.

Did any one notice the five tackle count v the Samoans early on in the game ??

It seems that refs from the Super League can't count either

Yep that's why im so excited we have so many great young guns in our side were going to be a force team for years to come and im so pumped to see us back on top. And playing in the world cup will make it even better for us with the experience they are getting.

We gotta remember though that the quality of the opposition every week in the NRL is significantly better than what Sue, Teddy and Koro have faced in the last few weeks. The confidence that they will take from this WC campaign will hopefully see them really shine next season. Koro in particular would be well aware that he has a massive fight on his hands to cement a spot on the wing for us in 2014\. It's nice to have players having to really earn their place in the team instead of the walk-up starts of recent seasons due to lack of options.

What are your thoughts? I am thinking an upset pom victory and the Ozzys by 50+

Kiwis too strong in the forwards and will win by 8 and Aussies by heaps

Sad to see Petero playing his last game tonight

A true warhorse and highly respected player
