World's best beer

Since I started chemo last August I was warned by both doctor and my oncologist that the chemo would change my taste on a lot of food , it did , and to my amazement it change my taste on Tomatoes, mash potato , sausages , some biscuits, lemonade , all no good now but it did make me like spinach , Steak , Fish , any food with punch like Thai and Vietnamese, but the best one was I only drank XXXX gold for years , but now all cold beers tastes GREAT hahah don’t matter what ya give me , old , new , gold , corona , it’s all good , just one thing chemo hasn’t put a dampener on ,

I stumbled on this the other day. Interesting if true.
Very interesting mate, have always preferred Coopers Pale Ale for the cloudy sediment in the bottom of the bottle, turn upside down and give it a rattle it's a good, flavoured beer.

Just recently bought a carton of Crown Lager, having trouble drinking it, tastes nothing like it did decades ago, probably has all these foreign ingredients going away from the original recipe, will never switch from Coopers again.

I agree about Cooper's Pale Ale being the best mass produced beer in the country, amazing when you realise that SA gets the worst quality water on the mainland of all the capital cities.

I actualy prefer Cooper's Stout to the Guiness we get made here.if you can get bottled Guinness from Ireland though that is superb and the best stout i have ever had in a bottle or can.
My better half bought me a carton of Guiness for St Patricks day. I got my taste back for stout and have been drinking Coopers Stout since the Guiness ran out. To me the Coopers is not as rich, has iess body but still a tasty drop, and made in Aus. Otherwise its coopers pale.

I do like a stout. One of the best stouts I've had was a Cascade stout from the brewery. A few of us from work go to the Strand Hotel on Williams Street for $10 pints of Guiness. Great value for a pub in the city. The 4 Pines have a great Nitro Stout on tap.
Out of the bottle Coopers, Sheaf Stout, Guiness, Monteith's Black Beer are all good.

There's a brewery in Bangalow, Common People. The Moonless Midnight stout is close to the best ever. Only bettered by their occasional Barrel Aged Moonless Midnight. Their Wildwood Dunkel and Red Ale are also winners. You can find their beer at a few good shops, one in Norton St Leichhardt.

Thank you for asking , I’m ok , still getting chemo so that basically means it’s holding the cancer at bay , how long it can do that is a ? It depends on how long I can cope with chemo , blood cell counts specially the white cell count which at present is just above the cut of point but has been like that for a while I was given 12 month 50/50 and 18 months 15% chance last august so I’m going ok , to beat it is not going to happen , to get to 12 months I’m confident I can , 18 months I hope to do plus more but it’s body only for me as I’m head strong and won’t give up easy , I don’t have any other issue , liver , kidney , lungs, heart are all normal that’s the part that hurts most , but the cancer in the spot it’s in and how it attached to the pancreas and main artery done the damage , bloody thing , but all good , thanks again
