I love the guys who go through the list of players on Wikipedia and pick the players with bugger all games for us and assume they were ordinary…. Whilst some on your list may belong there, There's more than a few that don't!!
I'd consider Saleh and possibly Bajouri better wingers than one we have on our books ATM. Glen Air was a solid player - Certainly no superstar, But his game he had for us was by no means a poor one. Shayne Dunley went on to play over 100 games of first grade - Hardly a terrible player to notch out that career. Ben Duckworth had some fantastic games in our colours, Could have been anything if not for injuries....
Ryan Tandy won a premiership and was at his best in the 08-10 years of his career - A starting prop in better teams than ours...
Robbie Mears was more than a solid player
Mark Flanagan had a fantastic motor, Not a massive guy - But a great utility forward.... Wasn't used real well with us.

Several of the players selected in the list were past their best by the time they played for the Tigers being Jason Cayless (stuffed knee when signed) and Nick Graham (just all round stuffed). I agree with several others that Mark Flanagan went OK (solid player), whilst Mears, Dunley, Tandy and Duckworth all had their moments. I noticed Anasta was not mentioned, he certainly played his fair share of ordinary games for the Tigers!!

Flanagan was really underrated. Was disappointed he only stayed the two seasons. I agree with Batboy, just because a player only played a couple games should not qualify a player in the worst ever team. It's going the simple route and not a true reflection at all. You pick players who made you have your heart in your mouth every time they touched the ball. Or if a play broke down when it got to that player. They're aren't too many players in the side named that made me feel that way. The two players who made je most feel that way over the years were Fitzhenry and Joel Caine. But you won't see their names in too many worst ever teams. It's easier to point and laugh at guys like Salah and Bajouri because they only played a handful of games.

BIt harsh on some. Flanagan was always alright when he filled into a pretty strong line up.

As others have said duckworth was also pretty good, he's pretty problem was too many knee injuries.

Who was the guy we signed from Melbourne in 2000 or 2001 mid season? Dane Morgan? He got talked up by the coaching staff big time, played 1 game, was terrible and seemed to dissapear off the face of the earth.

To me a poor player isnt one who only plays a game or two.It is the bloke who continually gets picked week after week despite being next to useless.I agree regards Lolesi Sheens used him as Mr Fixit and got shunted all over the paddock he was better than that.

After all the sarcasm and bile directed at Robbie Farah I don't how the temptation to include him was avoided? I can't recall such shocking defence as last season - surely some of them deserve to be included.

I am sure nobody will argue about lamb as the worst coach not only at WT but Balmain or the Magpies a total grub as a man.

re Tandy, I don't think you can count players who did alright elsewhere. We are talking about output whilst at the Tigers. Jason Cayless had a great career before he left for England and then played like a busted for us.

Hassan Saleh, please! I do agree with you re a few of these guys Dunley, Duckworth, Mears, Flanagan were all alright. But Hassan Saleh was a deadset coat, he might have had a fair number of games under his belt, but he was there because we had such poor options otherwise. NBQ was IMO twice the footballer that Saleh Boy was, and that isn't saying much.

I think also the idea is picking the worst player in each position, not necessarily the Top 17 worst players.

No mention of Justin Hunt yet, the only man I've ever seen turn and run the wrong way before he got to the line. Not a back pedal, not a sidestep, he legit got close in the corner then turned to face the other end and ran away.

Bulldogs game this year. Worst performance I've seen in a Tigers jersey.

If they were terrible whilst our club was paying them hen they deserve to be on the Shame list.

Tandy
Cayless
Anasta
Adam Blair

and the other losers I mentioned in a prev post….

Perhaps Im cranky and should go to bed...

Ryan Tandy was very strong for us in the limited games Sheen's gave him in top grade.

I remember he was interviewed in the sheds after a MOM performance at Leichardt about next weeks game and he suggested he probably would't be in FG. He was correct. Sheenius!
