Tell me the last time a (C) ordered a player off?

Leadership by precedent!

Yeh.. I see you cannot answer.

I've already answered . As a leader, be prepared to lead.

I only watched the game yesterday. I'm surprised that so far no one has drawn the Blocker Roach parallel. That's the first thing that came to mind watching him walk down the sideline after his sendoff. He's a keeper, but he needs to learn control.

What if he did and the Coach said No..he stays out there

Now c'mon fair dinkum @Geo was that a question or a statement?
Imo....with Madge knowing Leilua's history there would obviously have to have been an understanding between Madge, Mbye and Leilua, that if Leilua is getting out of hand Mbye as Captain has the power and obligation to tell Leilua he has to have a short visit to the bench to cool down before he comes back into the game.
With Leilua being forewarned this can happen if necessary, I doubt very much he would tell his Captain to "get stuffed" as another poster suggested.

I said that mate...in the heat of the moment when Joeys brother was slammed, and Mbye said go to the sideline BJ ...what do you really think BJ in his frame of mind would have said...'"yes capt I will I have been naughty""....his emotions were high and Madge should have handled that particular situation...

Seems to me you @TrueTiger and @Geo are a like pear....you both talk baby talk.
Your eyes must have been drawn straight to my words with the exclamation marks, and missed out on reading the previous 4 lines where imo I explained what I thought was a fair thing clearly enough for all those 1 or 2 rabid (not) people who read my posts, could understand what I meant.
Plus I have already agreed with a "fair enough" to another poster who suggested it was Madge's job to haul Leilua off to cool down, not Mbye's.
So I guess it's now an either ither situation/decision.

I don't understand what you mean by baby talk Magpies 1963,I was just clarifying what the situation was and in my opinion Madge should have handled BJs situation from the start of his aggressive play..not Mbye as captain, remember Madge wants culture change so he has to give guidance to what he wants..if he pulled BJ off the field he would of shown true man management but took a punt on BJ doing the right thing which he didn't...

Greetings @TrueTiger I must have misinterpreted your words "yes captain I will I have been a naughty boy".
My apologies for that TT.
And yes I agree Madge.... or Mbye or anyone, should have given him a spell on the bench to let him cool down.
Whoever had the authority to get him off the field, imo failed to act....knowing his past history.

Geez, BJ was NRL's Dally M Centre of the year for 2016 and 2018.
The raiders knew his form from Day 1.
All this for a brain snap.
Give him some space & let him return to us the player he is.
