Would you drop BJ?

If joeys looking at 4-6 weeks for that effort then the Penrith hooker must get 10-12 weeks , joeys effort was stupid but there was no force it was more a sling action .

Really? Luciano got hit in the act of tackling, it’s gunna happen, it’s part of the game.
Joey had brain snap, what he did was terrible, and not a good look for the NRL.
What he did was way worst than Koroisau.

Further to Joey Leilua, Tigers could possible seek a downgrade from grade three to grade two. That'd have him missing two weeks. #NRL

No Api got off. Love the NRL consistency.

Good to see consistency is the key.....how many high shots did panthers do all game??? We get Garner and BJ......

Bj should get suspended....but name me one brother who has played NRL recently and hasn't gone in swinging when his sibling gets bashed???

I wouldn’t go to judiciary for joeys hit. Would be shocked if it’s downgraded and if they fail he’s out for 6 weeks.

Only reason they could do it is because we are so low on outside backs

He can take the early plea and plead guilty and cop the 4 weeks..If he pleads not guilty to the Grade 3 he gets 6..challenging the grading won't get him more weeks it will be 4 with a possibility of less if the Grading challenge is successful..

It's called a Sam Burgi special play..

Joey facing 6 weeks if he appeals his charge and fails. Probably 5 with an early guilty plea

Really disappointing.

We need him. His charges off our line have compensated for our forwards lack of size at times and we are very, very, short in the outside backs.

His loss may well cost us our season.

Really disappointing as he is a veteran and has let the whole team down.

Dumb play and will get at least a month, but I am not hearing anything about the high shoulder charge to the head on McIntrye that did not even get a penalty. Our players were totally frustrated by the abysmal ref

That is the problem he is looking at 4-6 weeks

2 weeks tops

Nah mate ...hitting a bloke who doesn't have the ball with a closed fist ...isn't good

It was hardly a closed fist incident. You paint the picture of a cowards punch if someone hadn’t seen the footage. It was a good ol’ fashioned clothesline, Hacksaw Jim Duggan style.

He is an absolute lunatic and that sort of stuff is just selfish and inexcusable. I love his aggression and his tough runs but Jesus Christ learn to channel it. I would wager he has one of the lowest IQ’s in rugby league and that’s saying something.

He'll be forcibly dropped for 3-4 weeks I reckon.

His defensive reads are just as bad as his brain farts

He’s been much better lately. Coinciding with Benji being dropped funnily enough.

I’d drop him off at the ACT border. Looks like the Raiders could use him again. He’s gonna be an ongoing liability especially in close games when cool heads decide the outcome

Packer has been.hammered on this forum and he has played some really good games for WTs. JL has been at WTs for a short time and come up with the shocker against the Knights and now this disgrace. I cannot understand how so many believe this is acceptable or in anyway is playing tough football.

We should not forget he also hogged the ball when a try was on offer.

Packer has less impact in the time he has been here then Joey has had in what 5 games

Please, what you have written us utter nonsense,

i understand that you dont like joey its evident. but what has packer actually done for the club. he has been an average forward.
so to show you my utter nonsense lets look at some stats.

in his 3 years here he has played a total of 26 games out of 75
in those games he has averaged 70 run meters per game which is horrible for a starting front rower.
he has made roughly 700 tackle missing 70. so missing 10% of his tackles which isnt bad so maybe a tick for him

That for me tells me he has been a horrible signing right up their with grub.

Totally agree.

Packer is on huge coin, has barely played and when he has he’s been phoning it in.

I’m sick of players coming here and giving it the absolute minimal effort to get by. I can’t forgive BJ’s stupidity at the end of the game. But in general I’ll take a passionate player with the odd brain snap over a lifeless corpse.

The real Warren Smith. Being a bit harsh isn't he?

That's crazy, we have about 4 signings that are much worse on our team now, let alone considering the NRL era. Six weeks for that? I don't think so, but here comes the media hype machine. Was Edwards even injured? Did he have an HIA? 6 weeks? What's wrong with these people? I respected you, Warren Smith.

That's not even taking into account the dive by Edwards.

The arm around the neck Joey put on him wouldn't have knocked the custard off a rice pudding.

Two weeks for stupidy. Api should get whatever Joey gets.

The Ref should get a minimum of 6 weeks - absolutely incompetent.

JL is in my team. His hit was a love tap, dumb yes but really no force. You see the player got up and ran over to the scuffle once he realised no one was taking any notice of him. Academy award performance.

We had two players taken off, one in hospital, as a result of foul play yet the Penrith players stayed on the field with a wrist slap from the ref.

Gee behaved like he had money on Penrith.

Definitely blatant, high and careless but what about the preceding 78 minutes of Penriff dog shots that didn't happen according to Gee? It was like a Burgess family highlights reel.

What about the wife bashers low shot put a bloke in hospital using his head and shoulder charged nothing happened to that grub should have been cautioned.arseole Penrith

Wasn’t much in it in my opinion. Even Edwards said after he dived and it didn’t hurt him at all.
I’d give him maybe a week, if that.

3 weeks for stupidity as the play had stopped and there was no upside by laying him out.

Anyways......

Ivan was blowing kisses at Gee, code for ‘Mission successful‘
... Gee then placed Ivan’s hand-written love letter (entitled “Game Plan”) in his mouth, chewed intensely then swallowed.
Game over...
