If we are playing the swapsies game ..Aim higher bloke..

Munster and Papalii. ..

At least one of mine is available ?

Contracts mean nothing!

Not at the joint venture if you’re playing well.

Yeah too risky, if you’re playing well and you come to the joint venture you will never play well again!

We need the COE as that at least gives us something off the field that is market leading.

I find it hard to believe the COE will change anything when it comes to on field performance or recruitment. It’s a nice thing to have but it’s not going to solve our problems

To be truthful, I really think WT could do with one of those total reviews of football club ops from backroom, facilities, coaching, medical and roster. Brian Smith used to be notorious for those but they served a purpose. I think WT need something like that.

I'd suggest Sheens / Bennett, however has to be a good thinker with a great knowledge of the game, where its going and be able to compare our strengths and weaknesses against other clubs for best practice and ways to improve.

I’d love someone with some business nous to have a look at our strategic plan, we seem to chop and change how we channel our funds, started with new coaches, then buying old heads, then the COE will fix it, then it’s aboriginal pathways, on to elite rep players from juniors. How about we narrow our focus and put the resources into finding the right people to win NRL matches.

I love these types of comments. It's almost like you think that these ideas aren't part of a strategic business plan.

If it was that simple every team would win the comp every year. It's not.

It's meaningless to me. 20kg is 20kg. Have you seen how some people train. Assuming steroids aren't allowed there is only so much improvement you can get out of a nice looking training environment.

Is guess the rehab equipment would be where the big improvement is.

We seem to be good at turning good players bad and bad players worse. However, those on the fringe of first grade use us as a stepping stone to a better team.

I think we need some more off field signings more than on field. Not that Arrow and Reynolds wouldn't contribute to the betterment of the team, but maybe guys like Luke Lewis, Mitch Aubusson, Chris Lawrence, Petro Civoneciva etc- recent well-respected retirees with proven winning track record.

No the machine that goes bing is the most expensive machine in the hospital and had to be brought out whenever the hob nobs showed up

They had demountables at school when I was there many years ago I hated going to those rooms. Cold windy terrible. Other classes were fine. I left my last gym because they didn’t have any air conditioning. People on here way to get rid of Leichhardt oval because of the toilets and amenities.

Why would a professional athlete want to train on a public park out of rubbish buildings. It’s not about the weight, it’s the surroundings and feeling good when you walk in somewhere. We hardly scream professional on that basis.

We want to compete against other clubs for players, they go on a tour there and then come here and see a hole in the ground and rubbish facilities. latrell looked at us after the roosters, JAC after the storm......boy chose other clubs. It won’t fix everything but it fixes a lot.

I reckon they do that at the physio or wherever.

I'm not stating they shouldn't do it or anything. I just can't see it turning everything around. It's not that important.

Oh, I'm with you there. It brings us into line as a pro sports team but won't equate into success.

You gotta do it because it's professional sport but it's no panacea. That is a big word for me.
