Guys, If you are confused or are on the fence surrounding the vaccine go and see your GP. Voice your concerns about it. Then make a decision.

My GP said no wait to after stage 4 trials finished it's to dangerous yet and doesn't stop you from getting or passing it on I trust him smart guy

What's his name and where does he practise?

He is from Pakistan and in his 30's

He didn’t ask his ethnicity or age he asked his name and where does he practice.

I noticed that but he's a good guy and people on here will just give him a hard time

Another mate got abused for telling people he would no get vaccinated

He is a GP, or is he a mate as well? Unfounded accusations against a GP would not go well for the accuser.

My mate is not a doctor he workers outdoors and said to a few people he would not get vaccinated

My GP is a diffrent guy from Pakistan very smart man always trying to better him self

If you’re not interested in the vaccine you probably have a different view as to what is best for your health. You probably also see a doctor who doesn’t rely primarily on prescribing medicine as a first point of call
Therefore the likelihood that the doctor you find yourself with may have a view on the covid vaxx that is out of step with the mainstream view, is actually a significantly higher probability than you might think

Well that should tell you something about the sources you are considering quoting.

Seriously; anything that "won't make mainstream media, or be recommended by the government, or be from a reputable science website"... what value do those resources have?

If I was to choose any other topic - politics, gun control, diet, space travel, rugby league, pets, raising children - and told you I could only provide you references from the real fringe channels, wouldn't you be at all concerned about the information I was peddling? If it can't even gain traction in mainstream media? I mean Murdoch will publish almost anything, if News Ltd won't even put their name to it?

I raised alcohol and smoking in the context of Earls assertion that non vaccinated people should be excluded from the health care system. I merely pointed out that alcohol and smoking contributes to a MUCH higher strain on the health care system and these people are not excluded.

I agree with you very much but we have to consider that smokers and drinkers are very heavily taxed, and part of that tax is to recover the medical burden on society.

Furthermore, an epidemic of heavy smoking probably does not put acute pressure on the health system. Acute drinkers maybe, after all Concord Hospital does get fairly bombarded after dance concerts at Homebush.

Based on the advice your Pakistani GP is giving you, I'd start looking for alternative opinions.

Actually, literally, get one second opinion. See if you can find two GPs in Sydney who recommend against vaccination. It's always worth getting two quotes for work.

He has had 4,2587 opinions already. Took that many to find someone to produce the advice that he was seeking.

I was speaking to my sister last year, and I was talking about the International Space Station. She said "what's that?" I looked at her puzzled.

I said "there's a large space station orbiting the Earth right now, with different parts built by different countries, and it's permanently inhabited at all times; it has been for 20 years. What do you mean "what's that"?"

My sister isn't boneheaded but obviously her general knowledge has some gaps. I said "I can't believe you've never heard of the International Space Station. I mean, no offence, but I thought most people would be aware that there's a space station orbiting the Earth, with astronauts in it".

So I interrupt my other sister in the middle of her conversation with my Dad, I say "please tell me you have heard of the International Space Station". And my *other* sister goes "no, what's that?"

Unbelievable.

I'm a little stunned by that comment, I know a couple of members of your family and consider them quite intelligent and knowledgeable people. I would think it would be quite difficult to find 2 people who don't know about the Space Station, let alone 2 in your family lol

I’d thought you’d have live streamed 4K hi-res from the space station into the living room.
Would’ve been hard to miss.
