HE would have to be one of the worst Chairman around yet the board was unanimous. The entire board needs to be kicked out. Change the structure immedialety and gey rid of all of them.

How the hell do you do this when there is a review taking place.

This is nothing more than the board giving members and supporters the finger and making the statement that we are untouchable.

No double that someone will have to be the casualty out of this review just so they can say that they did something.

No doubt Lee and the board will be safe, wonder if it will be Pascoe that gets knifed, we will know for sure if Lee comes out and says, "There are 3 certainties in life, death, taxes and Justin Pascoe being the Wests Tigers CEO in 2024."

I really have some time for Simon Cook but I wonder if he and the Board would be game to do that, Gallagher. They would almost certainly be saying goodbye to the Brydens sponsorship money. I hope they get rid of Lee H and Pascoe. It's a fair chance Pascoe jumps or is pushed but Lee H is safe I think. I hope I'm wrong.

Yes, I suppose that would require major changes. They're not ready for that.

Because it's very likely that the findings of the external review will be structural / governance in nature, not personnel changes.

For example the auditors may recommend changes to the CEO job description without suggesting that the current CEO be moved on.

Every Board has a Chairperson, so that isn't subject to review. And it's unlikely that the external review would specifically recommend to remove Lee H, unless he is proven internally to be incompetent or fraudulent. As much as it may upset people, I think there is a very very good chance that Lee H more than adequately attends to his Chairperson duties, so you aren't going to find him out on competency grounds.

On the Jimmy Smith Show yesterday about 12 mins in, he talks briefly about the Lee re-election & fan frustration about the Board. He mentions that two board members Rick Wayde & Tony Andreacchio are up for re-election to the Wests Ashfield board in March. If they are voted out there, they can't be on the WT Board.

Farcical change proposals highlight Tigers woes
Tigers officials held a meeting last week to find ways of doing things better in 2024 after back-to-back wooden spoons.

I had a 'spy' in the room and he told me three main changes were decided up.

1. The gear steward will travel to away games half a day early to set everything up for the players.

2. Players will no longer be required to carry their bags on away trips.

3. The players will have beer after games in the sheds.

True story - with all their woes in the past decade, these are the moves the Tigers decided on to get out of their rut.
I can smell a three-peat of wooden spoons coming up!

We need a 5 year plan for the gear steward to arrive to games early. We can start at 30 minutes then gradually build up to half a day!
