If Pascoe knew anything about Rugby League he wouldn't have allowed Cleary to pay overs for broken down Packer,Matulino and Reynolds. Any CEO with any knowledge of footy knew this would spell disaster.

I think therein lies the problem, sacking coaches combined with poor recruiting over the last decade and keeping overhyped favourites on big contracts has taken its toll ..instead of sorting the place out and making it more professional it's only become a much bigger basket case ..I mean,who really gives a club legend who was a great player,a 5 year NRL coaching gig WITH NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN COACHING AT ANY LEVEL..😡

This jersey debacle and lies in their media statement has to be the end for Pascoe!!

This has again cost the club tens of thousands of dollars because they could not get something basic right the first time!

Just as the salary cap hit and fine for his stupid breach with Farah + 6 months paid holiday for the CEO - coaching payout etc have crippled the club financially - he cannot claim to be a good financial administrator!!

CEO has to sign off on these decisions and statements - and the initial statement was a blatant lie involving Holsworthy Barracks signing off when anyone with a clue knows they (as a Defence base) don't have authority to sign off on ADF related images.

Instead of admitting they bought a stock online image of US military forces due to the orange hue...

But they clearly had pre-identified the error so re-branded the jersey from ANZAC to "Commemorative" - made one BS statement that did not hold up to scrutiny for even 24 hours & then sent a revised statement with a commitment to make a complete re-design...

Instead of just writing off costs for their original mistake - and never releasing it - but waiting until it came to this level where we are again not just a laughing stock but a transprently unprofessional bunch of dishonest and dishonourable amateurs!!

The board is untouchable ,therefore the executive is untouchable . Lets face it somewhere is the ultimate power .That power resides in Ashfield and therefore the fans have no power at all . Fans care about a football team called "Wests Tigers " and do some in Ashfield really care about Wests Tigers and do some maybe even resent the name ! Maybe they care maybe they don't but the only action ever taken is removing coaches and players but never the executive . The sad thing is the slow erosion of fans will slowly accelerate.
The fans have not enjoyed a win for 250 DAYS !

The Board need to grasp the brand damage and incompetency of the CEO - but they are old-school Committee men who only care about the game day lunches etc....

Perennially happy for the club to just be in the NRL and take the participation award!!
