U have a bad day on the punt ?No Finals since 2011 and 3 x Wooden Spoons in 2022, 2023 & 2024, the Wests Tigers club need to hand in their NRL1st Grade Licence! Only 14 wins in three years with the final straw having over 60 points scored against them by the 2nd last team in the final 2024 battle for the spoon game.
Wests Tigers supporters please consider your thoughts before making any of the following responses:
1. I will be a supporter for life regardless of performances
2. We will be better next year in 2025
3. The club deserve to be in the NRL because the joint-venture teams Balmain & Wests are original clubs from 1908.
4. Plenty of other clubs have won Wooden Spoons.
4. The club has great Junior talent coming through the grades
5. Have you forgotten 2005?
Whilst I admire the club bringing in Richo to try and turn things around, the Wests Tigers need to just put a team in the NSW Cup (to appease current fans) and give their Licence back to the NRL where they can allocate a new licence to e.g.a QLD Cup side or another identified side from NZ, WA or Papua New Guinea etc. There are far too many sides from Sydney and surely Tigers supporters are so tired of seeing their club ridiculed in the media year after year as a result of officials making decisions bordering on lunacy.
Watching the WESTS TIGERS play in the NSW Cup would be more enjoyable where they may perform better and make finals (though not a given). If I were Wests Ashfield I would make a board decision for 2025 and refuse any further funding of the team in the NRL1st Grade.
Maybe private ownership is the only way out?
I am fully aware this post is full of negativity and supporters on this site are loaded with positive thinkers, but surely I am not the only fan who has finally put up the sign "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH "!
Did you just wake up in a puddle of your own piss and vomit? Go back to sleep pleaseGround up have you purchased your 2025 Tigers Membership in the hope the team will not finish last?Did you just wake up in a puddle of your own piss and vomit? Go back to sleep please

Bugsy may have been out with the Foxx. Blind Freddy can see that we have struggled in recent years. Wests Tigers are on the way up & more success will come our way in 2025. go follow someone else mate
No I was a 36 year Wests Magpies supporter (until joint-venture) who spent years watching them play at both Pratten Park and Lidcombe Oval. I was devastated when the then NSWRL governing body removed them and Newtown from the competition in 1983 only to be reinstated after the Pies took them to court. I was very pleased when Balmain accepted the Magpies as a joint-venture partner in 1999 as I believed both clubs were a great fit. In my opinion both Balmain and Wests were correct in rejecting Parramatta and Canterbury as partners. Sadly I now believe joint-ventures don't work and would love to see both clubs once again stand alone (though financially Balmain would struggle). I understand how life is tough and we need to accept change but the current Wests Tigers set-up just doesn't work (IMO). I would love nothing more than be proved wrong and eat humble pie but if the club continues to exist then they need to pour a lot of their funds into Juniors from the Campbelltown region. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing and is probably a dog's supporter just trying to upset us as the dopey dog's would be the main winner if we didn't exist

A very mature and responsible reply.Fair enough but i can't agree. We need to move forward from Balmain/Magpies as neither have any future in Sydney despite what you hope for.As WT we have a future but we really have to get our act together. You and i are both older supporters than most people,i am in my 70's and supported Balmain all my life from my younger days and never wanted to merge but i knew that the best prospect in the future was a merge with a club that i respected. The Magpies were the best option being an inner city club (initially) and also had a "Never give up" attitude like Balmain did.Upwards and onward is what we have to do for the future.
Stay positive for the future, old buggers like you and i may not see it but i believe it will eventually come
Splitting the joint-venture won't work, there is already too many Sydney clubs in the NRL.No I was a 36 year Wests Magpies supporter (until joint-venture) who spent years watching them play at both Pratten Park and Lidcombe Oval.
