I don’t know anyone who trusts his judgment. Not to say he’s not trying or is well intended. He’s not a bad person. He’s a bit of a dim wit, but that’s fine too. I want a footy coach not a lecturer.

“The jury being out” is about as high as I can take his tenure at the moment and I’ve already spoken about finding him a personal coach.

If Benji puts in another horrid season, new recruits might ask if he can refrain from praising them publicly for fear of an unwanted association.

I was commenting on the membership stuff!

But tell me which of the top 8 sides have these new plans?

We don’t need any new plans…we just need good people!!

they all spout the same stuff every year,christ i will just run around in circles here ,but,a glass 1/2 full is a better jump of point than an empty ,if enough positive collects momentum it becomes self fulfilling etc

Yes, but I’d prefer less pizazz and more reflection.

Maybe if Richo was going to send us a Xmas message, just tell us the results of the review and what he thinks.

Just a cold and calculated assessment of what we learnt this year. And not even start on with the promises.

If we know the club is across its errors, it will give us a lot of hope. Better than denying or hiding it.

A bit of remorse and humility from the leadership would go a long way.

The players have to go through the video review each week.

That is the perfect plan for shooting up the table because judging by experience they would fail miserably trying to win the spoon

What’s more important? Having a chair who has never made a mistake in his life, like many of us fans, or having a chair who is committed to organisational development and the implementation of the Crawford/Barnier report recommendations?

I would be much more confident in us not getting the spoon if they came out and stated that their aim and objective was to get the spoon. 🤣

Never shirked it or half arsed it and wasn't treated the best by the club at the end.

Recall he went 350 odd tackles without a miss in 2010.

I loved Gibbsy, he was no nonsense and a bit of a character, another I was disappointed to see go.
We have such a poor record with how we treat our legends towards the end of their careers. Losing doesn’t help. The way fruit pascals allowed that scarecrow to treat our greatest ever hooker still annoys me, and god help pascals if we ever meet. I’ll give him an ear bashing, he’s gunna think he’s in the ring with iron mike.
Sorry I got off track there, I’m obviously still not over it.
Gibbs was great.

I’d be far more interested in knowing what these fitness metrics are and a rank of the players on that metric.

Baz was previously Chair anyway, and he'll probably be confirmed again.

Wasn't that special last time.

And if he is confirmed that leaves only 3 independent spots left.........two which must be ladies.

Now I don't even know if they've had 2 applications from ladies who would be suitable for a RL board and our club for an honarium.

I’m not trying to start a fight here , but if you can’t see your perspective is skewed to the point that you can’t be objective , then you need a reality check mate. You’ve really kicked off on this agenda , mainly from what I can see , based on the clubs IMO justified response to your over the top emails and entitlement .
Maybe you haven’t relayed the sequence of events correctly , but based on what you have told everyone , it’s hard to take your side , and at the very least even defend it , as it’s completely based on the fact you’ve got a vendetta .

You may be right? Could be having a struggle to find 2 independent women? I mean ones they can beat in a fight. I’d like to hear their explanation of why O’Farrell was referred to a recruitment agency? Are they not legally permitted, due to contract restrictions, able to recruit? They seem to have no problem sacking people.

They don't need to explain anything to us.

Baz was referred to the recruitment agency to go through the process as recommended by the the review which all Independent director applicants must conform to.

Relax, I'm sure the Grange won't come up or perhaps it might.

Not sure if being a conissuer of grange is part of the skills-mattttttrix .

Constitutionally they don’t need to give a rats to fans, but it would be a smart move to be more transparent..unless of course they have something to hide? I’ve ha a couple of bottles of grange, can’t afford these days though. Bin 28 is stretching the budget for me.
When I go to my bar I really can’t remember where every bottle came from. People know I like a full bodied Shiraz so it’s a risk free gift.
