Well his dad was down at training a week or two ago “out of respect for Madge and a trainer (whose name escapes me), so if he wasn’t there to punch Madge out, then it would be safe to assume it was a decision of the young bloke?

His father may well know Maguire and a trainer, but I don't know who his father is.

I don’t get why so many here are anti Chee Kam , i think he goes alright , no superstar but does a good job

He is OK in small doses ...the minute you need him to play big minutes he gets really sloppy defensively

Which means he is Off the Bench Impact player.

Parra seem to use their forwards in this way. Those that are high impact, less energy rotate a lot of the bench. While guys like Matterson stay on, Junior Paulo has a few rest breaks.

Chee Kam should muscle up and do the same.

Or be a foot taller and 25kgs heavier with the same mobility ...only reason @hobbo1 likes him is because he is shorter than himself

Yes and i was aware. But even players with contracts can be dropped to CC. This tends to make them look for a release. We have been reticent to do this and have put up with some duds. This to me is the easiest way of moving contracted players on.

Love the fact we have
Blore, Musgrove, Simpkins and Stefano for 3 more years together
I noticed Simpkins is listed as a second rower
And we have Tamou here for another two years to show them how it's done

Hopefully Mikaele has a good year and gets an extension
If Leilua continues to play well and Garner can reclaim his efforts of 2019 we will have a very good year
We could easily have the best pack in the league in the next year or two
Young big bodies and all fighting for spots

Same goes for Hooker with Liddle and Simpkin
The competition is very healthy in all of our forwards

I think we should be looking at backs for our last spots
And a goal kicker to boot
If Fitzgibbon isn't the answer then find a tank of a winger
I wouldn't mind Sivo
Off contract end of this year and plays a good power game
Unlikely but Adam Reynolds would be good for 3 years
Would certainly help in the halves and as our number 1 kicker

Our future is looking bright
