Just watched the match replay, the amount of ball the Eagles had in that first half, they should have been up more, but clearly, with an even amount of ball, we were much better than them.

AD was pretty damn good, having Liddle and Grant out at the same time seemed to really open things up a lot and Nofo was just awesome really.

Benji kicking on the 3rd still kills me, he's been doing it since day dot and rarely comes off well and in a game where we've barely had the ball............ugh

Not sure. I don’t subscribe to them so haven’t actually read it. Interesting headline to come up with after we rallied late in the second half to get the win though.

i thought we looked a totally different team when Liddle came on, good accurate crisp passing from DH had everyone on the front foot. This was of great benefit to Brooks and the forwards who had more time to think and get a one or two step start in advance of the line. You can never underestimate the speed of passes from DH. Liddle is much better at this than Grant, but having the nouse of Grant as well improved the situation even more.

The other big plus I saw was McIntyre and ET's defence, when they hit, they hit hard and often. Well done boys, I think both their contracts should be extended.

Lastly a shout out to Nofo, who was exceptional and AD who was really very good, not perfect, but good. His attack was excellent and positionaly very good, goal kicking was the best we have had for years. Someone asked "why hasn't he been kicking" - simple, he has been injured, same reason his speed has been questioned. BJ and AJ also played well with limited opportunties.

Yes. I’ve never seen him so serious. He is certainly not happy. And he is right, has nothing to prove, so retire or go to England.

WTs were much better with McIntyre, Taylor and Eisenhuth on the field. McIntyre and Taylor use the shoulder to drive into a tackle. Eisenhuth works.

Jiash A has a lot if work to do in defence. He is a grabber and many times third man in. JWH makes is personal to get into the tackle first. Tapau and Fonua Blake rolled through the arm grabs.

I’m so impressed with McIntyre. He is a real handful. Still yet to work out his best role in the team long term, but he most definitely has a big part to play going forward.
