Ok this one pretty much picks itself as well so Ive stuck to the 20 game criteria and omitted Benji as he will lock up the 5/8 spot

So as not to forget a huge shout out to Steve Georgallis, Shayne Dunley, John Simon. Ben Black, Lincoln Withers, Glen Air, Adam Tippett, Matthew Head, Tim Moltzen, Blake Lazarus, Jacob Miller, Tom Humble and Todd Payten who have donned the Wests Tigers 7 at one stage or another…..

Prince owns it but hoping in another 10 years it will be Prince who and enter ...Luke Brooks

Can i request that Craig Field be taken off this vote ? The bloke is the lowest low life scum and should not even be mentioned for the sake of the Wests Tigers brand

You could say the same about Robert Lui except he was lucky his punches didn't kill his victim.

thought lui had a lot ofpotential. if he was allowed to control the game, he couldve really made his stamp in the comp. same thing is happening to him with thurston where lui just manages to chip in when thurston is out of play.

still remember his game against the dragons in the semi. he's a big game player.

Mate Johnny Cronk was the best half back and five eight we've ever had

He's a grub, shouldn't be on the list.

GNR made a valid point earlier. Would you have Inglis, bird, carney etc on the best ever lists?

IMO, Idc what players do off the field. I pay money to watch them on the field and frankly that's all I care about. If we start analysing them on half truth half media speculations, we'd be here forever.

To answer the first question, no I wouldn't.

Craig Field was taken off the list because somebody said he shouldn't be there, because he was a grub. I'm simply saying the same about Lui, who was just lucky that his punches didn't kill, otherwise he would be in gaol as well. Just trying to keep it consistent.

I reckon Lui's far luckier that Sam Backo never got his hands on him

i've had these disagreements before so i'll keep it short and say that it is your opinion which is fine but where would you draw the line? the line can be anywhere between murder to peeing in a park (something that even todd payten is guilty of) so the best way to judge it would be soely on the on field performances.

Prince, not even a contest. Though, Lui does deserve a mention. Being the only halfback since Prince to get us to the finals counts for something. Idk who voted for Brooks, but they clearly haven't watched too many games, or just has the memory of a goldfish. The thread is about whose the greatest halfback the club's history as of this very moment, how could anyone think that would be Brooks? He might well be one day, but atm its Prince. Its about whats been achieved, not what might be achieved.
