Patience is a dirty word around here anyone would think a F meteor was about to strike Concord.Every club has players in the same.position as bula and luai...im guessing once the pacific rep games are done well see some decisions made...people freaking out due to impatience
Yeah it’s as if as soon as the Nov1 clock starts they all get released from international duties so they can have 17 meetings and lock in their future.Every club has players in the same.position as bula and luai...im guessing once the pacific rep games are done well see some decisions made...people freaking out due to impatience
And that can't happen if we have a ball paying 13? That's the whole concept of having a ball playing lock; can take on the line, can support the other middles, ie May offloads, gan dig into the line and play late to provide width or play as a link to give time and space.I know he goes better with extra space and AD gave him that.
The players have nothing to lose by signing with their clubs. The precedence has been set multiple times especially with us that ask for a release and you'll be granted.Watch how many high quality players either re-sign with their current club or sign with a new club for 2027 onwards within a few weeks from November 1 which is now tomorrow.
Once there are no high quality players left for 2027 we become at the mercy of our own high quality players and will need to pay them whatever they ask for.
Richo would be fully aware of this and won’t leave it hanging for too much longer for this very reason.
Do you think there’s any chance it could hit the HBG boardroom? 😂Patience is a dirty word around here anyone would think a F meteor was about to strike Concord.
If only meteors could be guided through space to the best possible pinpoint location.Do you think there’s any chance it could hit the HBG boardroom? 😂
Of course it can J but don’t think it will be Douehi, he’s not suited to 13 imo. But still deserves to be in the team .And that can't happen if we have a ball paying 13? Each of those spoon years there were better players arriving the next year. That’s not the case this year so far and the way we ended 25 leaves a sour taste..
So much negativity here this past month,.. worse than the spoon years ,
Yeah, with no significant changes, we know our ceiling which is 11th or 12th.Each of those spoon years there were better players arriving the next year. That’s not the case this year so far and the way we ended 25 leaves a sour taste.
And therein lies the problem Hal. Benji has already anounced his his long term halves plan and AD isn't part of it except as a backup. He may get a start there due to Latu's injury. We know he is not up to it as a centre or as a fullback. He isn't versatile enough to be a specialist 14, so where do you fit him in?Of course it can J but don’t think it will be Douehi, he’s not suited to 13 imo. But still deserves to be in the team .
I even think Doueihi plays first receiver in attack like a traditional halfback, but with the number 13 on his back, so conceivably we have two 5/8ths, one for each side. So long as his defence holds up, that could be a winning formula and a way to get 3 halves on the field at the same time, playing to their strengths. And that can't happen if we have a ball paying 13? Any way to get Twal out of the starting side along with Seyfarth is a win. Neither are first graders and starters at any other teamI even think Doueihi plays first receiver in attack like a traditional halfback, but with the number 13 on his back, so conceivably we have two 5/8ths, one for each side. Surely you are over the excuses.
We currently have uncertainty on whether or not our 2 highest paid players will commit to our club long term or not.
It needs to be sorted out urgently and if they love the club as much as they claim they do they would get it resolved ASAP,
The unfortunate reality as much as it pains to say.I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated, but only a moron would remove the clauses (without financial gain) given the history of this club..
Take your rose coloured glasses off for a second. If you were an investor buying shares in a company, the tigers are far from a blue chip stock. The dysfunction of HBG is like a reality tv show that keeps on giving. You'd be nuts to put it all on the line if you don't have to.
He can love the club and love the vision... But that doesn't mean some numpty doesn't come along and screw it all up overnight again... In which case, he has the right to leave, because that's not what he signed up for
