WT's 2016 Salary Cap

300k for Liam Fulton would still be on the books too I would say. He was injured with a 3 yr contract I believe which we will still need to be paying

His ongoing earnings shouldnt be part of the Salary Cap, but if he was heavily backloaded, the allocation for the playing period may still exist?

My frustration came from doing the player by player comparison with other teams. Roosters, Broncos, Souths, NQ, even the Bulldogs. How other clubs fit their teams into the salary cap is beyond me.

Compare them the us, Penrith, St George etc and things just don't stack up.

I think we pay extras to retain players or get them to wear our jersey
where as they are happy to play for other clubs for a lessor sum..

All this is a load of horse poo(what i wrote) just like our salary cap

There is no sliver lining for us folks or the light at the end of the tunnel
The light has been powered off due to not being able to pay the electricity bill - All money spent on CAP

We have some backloaded contracts. What you are not being told is we front loaded contracts next year to intentionally tank and free space to load the group in 2017.

That would make more sence than all the 'salary cap mess' scenario.

seriously, if Brooks/Moses are on $500k & Simona/Nofoaluma are on $300k, whoever signed those contracts should be thrown off the gap!

The rest look ok, and while I guess your factoring in the backloading, I doubt Woods would be on $700k and Farah $900k.

Surely both these 2 attracted TPA's to get them to their top price?

Rowdy, Farah & Galloway might also attract some discounts being at the club 10 years?

Farah defo on $900k; but you are correct, this would be inclusive of the TPA, which are all rolled up into the cap of ~$6.8M.

The strategy is a good one and Phil Moss has some good form with Penrith.
Issue is I like others have little faith in our coach and management who appointed him.

Have faith.
