I think the B sample is taken at the same time as the A sample. They are just tested differently or at another time .

Sorry for the smart alex reply, but that is a really interesting thought.
If you know you're guilty, imagine wondering for six months whether they'll catch you, having that hang over your head.

It'd almost be a relief to get caught, but then again, your career may be over, so you'd have to very certain you'll get away with it before even doing it.

Before round 1, on March 14, Xerri had tests for Covid-19 - then was cleared. (No other Sharks player was tested for the virus.)

Ink is correct, the reason for non-selection in Round 1/2 was given as "recovering from shoulder injury.

He was caught because of his trainers. They know what certain blokes do to get results and they tested him as a result. I guarantee you tho is what happened. I used to run at Sydney Athletics field in the 90s and specialist training got me to a 10.8 100m at 102 kegs. I’ll admit now I was chemically enhanced and that was not for competition.

High performance is a code word for pushing the boundaries but I’m stunned the kid was so stupid to use those drugs. There are many undetectable alternatives that you would be shocked how many use them. Technically they are legal and if I was a sports person getting big money wouldn’t hesitate as some are very safe.

I suspect the Sharks has zero to do with this and I don’t know where his speed team was based but if it’s what I suspect he’s finished.
