lol… okay, i have banged on about how much i would love to see CL at fullback in the past and sorry to bring this topic up again, but it seems that right now is the time the tiges have an issue at number 1, so could he be the answer?

Lawrence would be a great fullback imo.

I have also thought that this would be the best option for the tigers in the past. Now I am not so sure because other players can fill the role such as Tuqiri or Moltzen (if he learns how to be a fullback).

I also think he may be a representative centre but at fullback he is up against Hayne and Carney. It might hinder his rep career.

I think Lawrence would be great at fullback too. But his defence has improved to the extent that i think it would be missed too much in the front line. If someone strong like Josh Davis could nail his left centre spot, then i think the following would look great:

lawrence is our best outside back attacking and deefensively consistantly. the way that ryan played tonight i seriously see no real reason in moving especially the fact that he has a second nature combination with nella and is great with benji and gareth as well defensively. IMO there is no reason you should weaken one position to try something that may end up killing a season.

I thought Tui was still showing a limp at the end of half time when going down the stairs. hope i was wrong.

Lawrence is playing in his best position now, centre. He's perfect there, why move him?
Beau did a fantastic job at fullback tonight. and, wow, we defended for 80 minutes. Go you mighty tigers!!!

posted this before tonights game with concerns about brown playing fullback…
i thought ryan was excellent tonight: he was all over the place and really hit the ball back hard - something moltzen doesnt like to do. agreed, he thoroughly deserves the number 1 right now, so no need to make unnecessary moves.
i do think he would be awesome at fullback, but will shut up about it now. for a while at least!... :laughing:
only thing i have a little concern about is the inexperience on the right (in attack) - ayshford and whoever until tnt comes back.

Beau is a better player than we give him credit for, he was very good at fullback and should remain their is he keeps putting in perfomances like that.

Lawrence IMHO is one of the top 5 centres in the NRL, he is in his best position he is great at it and we want to move him?

It is only a matter of time to Chris Lawrence plays for NSW and Australia at centre so lets keep him in the centres.

Agree with Geo. Lawrence will not be shifted to fullback, and after last night I'm more than happy for Ryan to stay there. He ran for 248 metres. If he keeps that up then why would you want to move him?

Leave CL where he is…..

I thought Ryan played fantastic at fullback and I think he should stay there and in fact he can only get better in that position.

Safe under the high ball and ran the ball strongly when in possession.
