Can't justify picking Nofo again.
Like him and he's a good club man ala beau ryan but he's so weak it hurts.

I think Packer is our biggest lose… When is he back
I really think we need another 9 as Godinea is hopeless as well..
If I was IC I would be looking at a quality FB and Hooker from outside the club.
I really like Coote myself as he is a quality FB and solid under the highball.

When Benji scored and we went to the lead, I said to my wife, "This won't be enough to win it, our RHS defence is weak." From what I saw at the game today, McQueen needs to come into first grade at the expense of Rochow who seems to have hit a wall. Nofo? What do we do with him? One thing is certain, Fonua must stay in firsts, so when MWZ comes back, maybe Fonua to the right wing.
Those are the only changes I'd make apart from bringing back the injured players.

I had the luxury of actually being able to watch the game today on Foxtel as I was in Oz for the weekend. I'd swap McIllwrick for Godinet and hang out waiting for the return of Packer, Taylor, Reynolds and Twal. I remain concerned about the future of Taylor with the head knocks he is getting and his recovery each time.
Can we fit McQueen in there somewhere? I think Rochow is doing OK though. Fonua has done enough to stay for the time being meaning MWZ and Tui cool their heels in reserves.
I'd also toy with the idea of bringing Gamble into the interchange for some creativity to give him experience if Reynolds is out of the equation. Nufo remains a concern and Im not sure about Liddle, seeing him bounced around by the Parra forwards who arent the biggest in the NRL.
No time to panic but IMHO some weaknesses have been exposed and I think the hooker situation is the most pressing. Injuries arent helping but close losses where we have been ridden over in the final minutes means something apart from bad luck.

Godinet does need to go, and is a much more realistic player to be dropped, as opposed to fantasy team changes like Marshall, Aloiai and Noffa getting the punt. Offers zero. McIlwrick is a superior defender and does not have the mistakes in his game Godinet has.

I think Mcilwrick has to come into the team & when he tires put Taylor to Hooker, but cant wait for Packer & Twal to come into the Team, we miss Packers quick play the balls & defence.

I have grave doubts about your feelings of well being for the kid. He is lightweight and still recovering from operations on each of his shoulders. Last week he suffered severe concussion, He needs to play ISP for a week or two to restore his confidence. I am sure that he is a top first grade hooker in the making but throwing him into first grade next week will not help him or the club.

He didn't have a great game yesterday but also wasn't used the best I felt.
We are missing a few with the injuries. ET is a massive loss despite some on here claiming he does little but tackle. He not only tackles, but he slows the play to the exact pace we need. His methods of 'slight' tangling and laying where he shouldn't be etc are perfect. He also covers the dummy half role.
Id have MWZ back and Fonua can switch over for Nofo. Nofo back to ISP for a break and get the hunger again.
As for Sue, please please please send him back to ISP. He offers very little. He is generally ineffective and make one good hard run per fortnight, then spends the rest of the time catching his breath. He has a small motor. Whipper Snipper size maybe.
Other than that, we are just suffering a little from injuries and depth inexperience. We are far better off so far than anyone predicted, so suck it up.

How can he justify picking Nofo again?
Especially if MWZ is ready and Fonua had a rly stand out debut. Both solid defenders compared to the inept Nofo

No one needs too get fired. We just need to pick best 17 available, prepare well and we are gonna win more than we lose. Let’s face it this squad isn’t premiership ready but capable of a run into the finals if its plays to its capability.
