I remember Elford who was Wests Tigers centre in their premiership team off 2005\. Never a star but if not for his defensive I believe that Wests Tigers would have not made the impact they had in 2005.

Missed the last couple of ISP but before then McQueen was improving steadily in both fitness and play, and looking solid. I don't think he would offer much impact but then again MCK has dropped off in that regard and it seems Rochow's stocks are not as firm as they were. McQueen wouldn't let anyone down I don't reckon.

Re the replacement forwards I don't want Sue and Grant both in the team. Shades of previous unsuccessful years there! Please hurry back Russell… and as it seems we are creating a bit more attack, Godinet out and Killer back in (if we are going to play with two hookers).

I actually think we need to give big wraps too Kevin Naquama. In Attack he is far more scary then Esan Marsters and he with MWZ have been solid in Defense. Every game I have seen him do at least one huge run and has either gone himself or set up a try for MWZ.
Not saying best center in the world, but I am saying he is bloody awesome. Absolutely killed it for Fiji and becoming more deadly in the NRL.

Our centres have been excellent, barring one game each, but remarkably consistent now that we have 8 games to go off.

Wing worries me, feel better with Thomson on a flank as it is a lock and load option, but that weakens fullback due to Tui being Tui currently. Big question marks over Nofo and MWZ for mine.

I think Rochow, Benji, and to a lesser extent the Huth and Aloiai need to lift. The early season form of these four has fled.

Hooker is a massive weakness, Godinet concerns me.

That's seven guys I have on notice after a 5-3 record, shows we are having a great year really and getting great value from the rest of the squad.

I'd say blokes were probably issued their first warning last week, going off reports of Cleary's reaction. You give them a week or two to respond before you open the trap door to ISP imo.

A fit Liddle is light years ahead of the next best DH in our team.

To a lessor extent I would nominate Reynolds (when fit) in for Benji.

Killer is a good back up in my opinion , not too much flash , solid defender

For weeks I have wondered why Godinet has been chosen ahead of MM. Obviously Ivan sees something in him that MM isn't showing - it can't be defence, so all I can think is that he has a little more ball playing ability and perhaps slightly better service.
I can't see Liddle mentioned anywhere so I assume he is injured and getting a rest this week - does anyone know for sure?
