My three youngest Kids (&, 12 &13) had a Charity Jersey Day at school down Menai way in Syd.

All were adamant that they DIDNT want wear their Tigers gear.

In the car they were debating which team the should move across to as the Tigers always loose.

The point of this thread is to highlight that this is what years of Garbage results and no clear direction is delivering success in the foreseeable future.

Generational Support is deserting this club.

Really Concerned.

You need to ground them until they come around

Or at least until tigers come good and they than choose to follow them

The latter though could take 40yrs

The club needs to be shipped off to Perth for the betterment of the game and the future of the club. Plenty of young fans in WA ready to embrace a NRL club.

Bro, send them both to their rooms & take
away all electronics until they repent 😆

Kids went from seeing Benji and loving the Tigers - exciting players and team to watch...

Then I believe the next wave was Benny Barba at the Bulldogs or Eels era Hayne.

Then briefly Ponga and now it's probably the Penrith powerhouse.

Kids ain't going to be into our team as we've got no real stand out star - a franchise player. Plus we always lose. It's not inspiring at all.

There'll be no new fans coming along any time soon - maybe some that are born to it and/or are forced... but Kids are going to be drawn to some one like Reece Walsh at the Broncos or similar.

It's hard to watch the Tigers play with my three kids as I don't like swearing in front of them.
I have pictures of the three wearing a tigers jersey when they were babies at least... now its Brisbane lions gear they love to wear... 😔

My 8 year old son's favourite footy players are now Lachie Neale and Charlie Cameron which I expect no one to have ever heard of.
At least he comes to Suncorp to watch the tigers play up here in Brissie. Good track record up here the last few years helps as well 😉

Concerned? you should be over the moon. You raised smart kids. They are already miles ahead of all us morons.

AFL will always be bigger than the NRL.

9/10 kids prefer AFL instead of League in my opinion.

Never got into the sport myself, but you can name more AFL stars then NRL stars.

Ben Cousins
Nick Riewoldt
Jason Akermanis
Dustin Martin
Lance Franklin
Patrick Dangerfield
Gary Ablet JR
Big bad Barry Hall

list goes on...

For me, Robbie Farah was my favourite, followed by Gareth Ellis.. Rather the work horse who is out there most of the time..

Haha

That's 4 of my 5 kids that have given up on the Tigers.

In truth there are no young tigers fans around. Our brand equals failure and giving up!

The fact that I am hearing from the Club to be patient is ridiculous,

The players and Staff need to care the way we care
