For 80% of the game Luke Brooks did didley squat (again). It’s sad that some on this forum feel the need to promote him so much ( to protect him from the so called haters) that he receives 1 point for making two plays.

In fairness most of our team did bugger all for 80% of the game.we had barley any ball.
I thought Brooks’ defence was superb last night,saved about 3 trys

That bomb he put up in the second half killed all our momentum. Even Blocker called him out for it.
Every time he touched the ball he was inept (bar his final cross field kick). I will say that some of his one on one tackles were superb.
But for his part in the game as a halfback he should get no points.
He makes one good play and his friends magically reappear here with their agenda.
Lame.

He was not involved at all the first half, did some good stuff in the second. An inconsistent performance. Good signs at the end, turning 26 soon. Time to play strong for at least 40 mins a game and perhaps improve from there

Really with hardly any ball at all in the 1st half ..there were 2 kicks Brooks put in on the 5th tackle ..identical to the match winner he produced at the end for Doueihi..

They came down right on the goal line but didn't get a result therefore they were deemed as rubbish kicks and poor last tackle options ie he is useless...

I don't normally confront posts such as these, though **"feel the need"** on this occasion as **"It’s sad"** that one of **"the so called haters"** so vehemently dislikes the contributions of a local junior that loves our club and is playing alongside his boyhood idol, that he has to come on here to dis that player.

Nearly as sad is that you cannot realise that until that point in the game, when we finally got some ball, the same player was carrying out his coach's instructions and literally saving tries with his defence whilst the opposition had nearly all the possession **"For 80% of the game"** to hold a 14 point lead prior to to the last dozen minutes. The "Making two plays" bit is even more of a joke in describing the way a player you little doubt constantly malign for putting up similar controlling bombs as most halves in the competition or not being able to take control of a game, did exactly that when the opportunity availed, being the conductor to bring the game home, just as he did a few weeks back.
